Unknown Cue

In some trading I got this cue. I know what it looks like. And I am not under the impression that this is authentic. It is super nice the fit and finish is top tier. I can't find any markings that might identify the builder. The wear on the bumper seems to indicate it has seen years of play. And has been taken care of.View attachment 896457View attachment 896458View attachment 896459View attachment 896460

Oops I did it again (Yapp's) foul in a final, a second time!

the ref didn't decide it wasn't possible. thats who makes the decision even if you dont like it.

and rule is if not absolutely sure it goes to the shooter.

could it have hit a tiny piece of chalk and rolled off. some chalk on the cue ball, is the table off . can it possibly do what it did.

no one complained except you and your weren't there. so over ruled.

Thoroughbred Tips

Finding a tip I really like is like an easter egg hunt with people giving you hints on where the best eggs are hidden. And with the price of some of the tips out there you can get hundreds of dollars in the hole quickly. I have a thoroughbred M-H on one of my Keilwood shafts and I like it. I normal go to is Moori Quick or Medium.

What’s the worst cue you’ve ever bought?

The worst cue I ever bought was a Dufferin I bought for my wife the one year she played league pool.
After she gave up pool I used it when I played pool in my basement.
The first cue I bought for myself was an Eckes cue in 1975 that I really liked until my brother broke it.
Then I bought another Eckes cue in 1985 that I still have and use sometimes when practicing.
The last cue I bought was my Meucci 95-11 which I purchased in 1995 and is my main player today.
Both the Eckes and Meucci cues are awesome playing cues with superb feel and control.
Both have the original shafts but I have a Keilwood shaft on order for the Meucci....
The original shaft on the Meucci has developed a couple dings over the last 31 years.
