My interactions with fellow pool players has been overwhelmingly positive. I've been cheated a handful of times. The problem is -- the bad actors stand out and paint a bad picture.People in general are basically dishonest given the chance. I would not expect them to call a penalty on themselves. Camaras everywhere now though have put a little fear into people. Not that it has changed their instincts, they are just a little more fearful of consequences.
.
Pool and golf take balls. Pool you pocket your balls. Golf you lose your balls. Both are the nuts. Can anyone help me explain this please? Seems like a simple concept to me but maybe not?
Dumb rule.
How many players would really call foul on themselves when the stakes are humungous?

Those who need threats of death and torture to be good are just bad people on leashes. As is a belief that you don't have to be accountable for your thoughts and actions.
everything has a price... let me verify details and see about getting a shaft on it.That's probably right. Hector's early cues had a flying V, although I haven't seen that logo. I guess I can email him and find out.
I paid $600 for one of his cues about 18 months ago so I'd guess somewhere around that. I might be interested if it's for sale.
For reference, this is what the new logo looks like.
