That's great, I wasn't aware we had to know someone personally to have an opinion on a public forum. Carry on sir, you got it.
You're all good.

The problem with most pool halls now is they're boring. The pool hall I grew up playing in had 25-30 regulars there all the time (good dudes!) trying to hash out games with one another. It wasn't easy, but we all ended up in action after some negotiating. Sometimes you got a game you liked, sometimes not, but everyone always ended up in action. Half the room played heads up and the other half in ring games. I can recall there were one or two guys that only wanted to play for the time and everyone teased them because of it. Everyone gambled and money mostly just rotated around. If someone couldn't hash out a game, they would stomp out mad for everyone freezing them out. That was rare though.I clearly said I only play once or twice a year, I didn't say I've only played that often my entire life. I also never said that I didn't play better in the past.
2 times 9' 1 time BB all 9 ball
I really have no desire to play any better, I don't have the time because I'd rather hang out with my dog or play poker![]()
You and @bbb, thanks for clearing this up. My bet factor has always been, "They don't shoot good enough." So even simple pool handicapping is a mystery. It's how many balls you need vs any particular player.
So if you usually get/need 10-7 and you get better you would get/need 9-7 and have improved a ball.

Of course it's a donation, but how is it not an honor to get on the table with an all-time great? It's a story for posterity, no more and no less. Being able to say "I once played Fedor Gorst" would be a very big deal to many starstruck players. Anyone who doesn't see value here need not partake.No.
It's a total and complete donation with zero honor. Fedor can give up numerous balls to just about anyone. He should be offering up 11-6 to all comers, still be stealing, but at least giving up a chance. Otherwise he can be like Woodward selling "worn" jerseys for $100.

just what I want, lol
Could it's Been His special cookies???He put a little something else in those butts, the legend says.
I own one of those cues. My 1st of 4.
That's obvious, but not what I was getting at.Why would a Billionaire want you to make a random decisions for yourself when he can maneuver you into making a decision which benefits himself (amongst all the choices)???
It's basically the Sparkcar repair lathe: Login to view embedded media
I seem to recall it not reviewing very well.
Here's a prior thread on the subject: https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/affordable-lathe-to-put-on-new-cue-tips.515618/
