Right now, at least, I'm looking at Richard Black cues. I've always liked his style, and I want to get a couple.
Unless you hit on the tip's edge - that's what tip curvature is supposed to prevent.I have wondered whether a flat tip would be advantageous when shooting a cue ball frozen to the cushion. Impact point a few millimeters closer to the equator can't hurt.
I clearly said I only play once or twice a year, I didn't say I've only played that often my entire life. I also never said that I didn't play better in the past.I believe you're a 600 but I've never seen a 600 put up a 7-pack, let alone do it on 3 different occasions, respectfully.
That's strong as f*$k. I would say you are severely underrated.
Was this on a Valley barbox? What was the game?
...my observation has been that you are indeed correct with all of (the pros] playing with pretty flat tips, like a nickel or maybe even a quarter radius.

Why should they be?As they should be.![]()
It appears to be a variation on the EUROPEAN SERIES (mid-late 80s --- I remember TONS of players had a European Series Meucci. Great playing and affordable). Shaft is not original to that butt, but could have been made later for it by Meucci.I've looked all through the online archives and can't find this particular model that I recently picked up. Has the Meucci Originals logo but a matching black dot shaft, so I know it's not real old. Just wondering if anyone can ID.
