I don't particularly like one end of the table being 1" higher in relation to my body than the other. It changes a lot imo.Just level the table. I'd be more concerned about water.
I’ve been looking too. Unfortunately there aren’t many options other than buying an old stock set of cyclops balls on eBay or Facebook marketplace. Aramith doesn’t make those colors and the closest dynaspheres set is the Tungsten set, but the 6 and 14 are gray instead of lime green. Dynaspheres did make a set called Carbon with the skittle colors, however it was a lower-grade resin and has since been discontinued. I talked to a dynasphere rep at the expo last weekend and they don’t have any new skittles sets coming out any time soon..while those are the same font, the colors are not even close to similar.
Thanks - that part I knew. The idiom "doesn't hold a candle to" means that someone or something is far inferior in skill, quality, or ability compared to another, implying they are not even competent enough for the most basic, subordinate tasks.
That's what I was asking about - interesting. Thanks again. The phrase originated in the pre-electricity era when apprentices or assistants were tasked with holding candles to illuminate the work of skilled craftsmen; if a person "couldn't hold a candle" to their master, it signified they were unfit even for this menial role.
