Since snooker isn't American, maybe the standard during its introduction here was 2 1/8" and for some reason the British size shrunk. Gotta look up some details.

Impressed by your snooker knowledge as I don't recall either of those players, but according to wikipedia Robin Hull has played in 3 world championships (knocked out in the first round every time). And Alex Ursenbacher has played in one(also being knocked out in the first round). Seems Robin Hull doesn't count as Finland is considered Northern Europe rather than continental Europe so I've learned three things today :D

Yes… a lot more then there seems to be now. There was a lot of venders this year compared to some past years but they were mostly selling the same stuff.

I hear ya.. I would like to try something new like longoni cues but I just don’t want to get used to a different cue and I’ve been playing predator for 15 years at this point.
