Never played.

• Butt: Stained maple forearm with sharp ebony points + white diamond inlays, ebony accents, Irish linen wrap, classic Schon rings and logo butt cap. Total cue weighs 20.1 oz.

• Shafts: Two original Schon maple shafts, both 13mm.

• One rolls perfectly straight.

• The other has a very minor warp due to age and wood characteristics (according to Schon)

• Joint: 5/16x14 stainless.

• Length: 58”.

• Extras: Original Schon joint protectors.

• Condition: Butt and one shaft are pristine/unplayed. No dings, scratches, or other issues. Stored carefully.

This is a rare, great-playing/collecting cue with strong Runde-era appeal. The minor shaft warp is the only flaw — priced accordingly with room for a new shaft or straightening if needed.

What size is the butt on this?

Cue holder as in a wall mounted rack to hold 10 sticks? If so, they are all universal and fit any pool cue.

Your vernier is reading 31.8mm. Although, the vernier scale is either misaligned by .1 to .2mm, or there is parallax in your picture. That is 1.25 inches, which is standard for a cue butt cap.

You are correct, I didn't loot at the other lines that line up on the 8 ;)

How do you find your opponent's weakness?

If my opponent is hitting well and playing proper safes I'm the weak one. After a game or two the level shows. How do we know their weakness? It'll come right out....
What game(s) are you playing?
I play one pocket almost all the time except at league which is 8 ball.
After a couple racks of one pocket, I have my opponent's skill dialed in.
In one rack of one pocket I will see safety play, shot selection, position play and banks.
And do they go for the low percentage shots.

If I'm playing someone for the first time, I may take a real hard long shot early for two reasons
#1- if I make it puts the fear in him on how he plays his next long safe
#2- if I miss it,it puts the fear in him that I will shoot long hard shots again also affecting how he plays long safes again.
A lot of one pocket play is getting into your opponent's head.

I play a guy that's a much better banker than I am so I'm real careful not to leave an easy bank, If I have no choice, I try to play safe where the bank is at an off angle.

Just a few of my thoughts, comments are welcome.

secret to long table bank shots

Something like that but it was 2D...

Found it: "The banks are always open" https://web.archive.org/web/2015050...PORTS - BANK SHOT DIAMOND SYSTEM - POSTER.htm

I really think there is something similar in the cte book, not trying to start that thread, but it was to show how any shot could be made or whatever. If you could hit a ball in a zero friction environment I suppose it would eventually go into some pocket.
