I'd spin it up on a dime rounder on the carpet, hold it down with my feet and work it, weight of cue says ''I got that goin' for me''.What is the best cue tip tool for correcting a mushrooming tip?
This. /\That's the sort of move that starts brawls. That's not how the rules work in at least some leagues. Here is the rule from CSI/BCAPL/USAPL:
3. Once they are established, groups can never change for the remainder of that game. If a player shoots the wrong group and no foul is called before the next shot and the player continues to shoot at that group, or if at any time during the game it is discovered by either player or a referee that the players are shooting the wrong groups, the game will be replayed with the player who broke the game breaking again. If a game has ended and then the players realize they shot the wrong groups, the game is not replayed and the result stands.
In general, a foul must be called when it happens. If I were the TD, I would call the opponent for unsportsmanlike conduct -- he did not call the first foul when he saw it. Forfeiture of the rack.
You have to be careful with it, as it can cut into the ferrule.
It can for sure, I have a ferrule to prove it too and upon contacting Longoni was told that it is possible and they would pay for the replacement of the ferrule.it doesn't
I will let you know as soon as I get them in stock. The Cynergy Shafts have had their fair share of issues, especially the ferrules, so I'm expecting TS1 to be a step up, they certainly use a better ferrule material and the tube itself is a more complex construction. Thanks Kim, the only carbon fiber shaft i thought was worth the money was a cynergy. But that wasnt enough for me to stay with it, and something in me isnt ready to give up on carbon just yet.

It's roughly 9.5". What are you trying to accomplish? Can someone who has a diamond or has the diamond sprocket measure and post the diameter including the balls? From ball edge to ball edge? Thanks.
it doesn'tYou have to be careful with it, as it can cut into the ferrule.
Never liked the Porper tool...not accurate enough imo...Porper mushroom tool is without a doubt the best. Adjustable so it does not cut into the ferrule.
You have to be careful with it, as it can cut into the ferrule. But it is the best tool I tried so far, it gets the tip flush to the ferrule but sometimes grazes the ferrule in the process. If you want to be sure not to touch the ferrule, you have to do it by hand as I think all the devices can be potentially harmful to it.The Longini trimmer

I'm use to my 4.25 and sometimes even lower than that at the pool hall I go to. Somehow somebody convinced the owner to make it that way. LOL
