Best GOAT moment of all time

yea that is part of why no or few games got there. i remember someone seeing and i confirmed joey spaeth ran out a whole rack once.
and rotation slim supposedly did it. but way before my time.
but a bunch also ran most of them but the ones left usually were not bankable for a mortal.

i dont know too much about the bankers in the mid south where most were what some of them may have done.

I got the two conversions back this week and wanted to share them since some of you asked by pm. Both cuemakers were a pleasure to work with and exceeded my expectations. I opted for kielwood shafts which I haven’t tried before for both cues and they hit great. The feedback is very direct.

Nice...and I'm a big fan of bumperless cues...

4-6 point cues with colored veneers and linen wraps are my favorite

that was also rambos style he was first with it. he also did the small two rings. like on a hoppe cue.
i have a couple like yours as well. one is a balabuska ebony with leather wrap

when house cues were on the wall titliest i used to buy them from the house for 5 to 8 bucks depending.. and give them to gene balner to make ones just exactly like yours.
20 to 25 bucks back then. 7 or 10 for a 2nd shaft. palmer then started making them himself and called it the number 4 in one of his early catalogs.

Did Adam ever build Karella cues?

Just what is available online. Spent some time trying to id where this brunswick cue was manufacturered. Very high quality inlays, full splice construction , impressive sharp points likely sold in the late 80s. We can call it a mass production import , but that doesn't take changed the fact that it was manufactured to a high quality standard. Location of production is kind of irrelevant in my opinion. Good quality products have been made all over the world.

Yeah, I believe those Brunswick cues (with that logo) are from KPS Taiwan. Basically Falcon cues, I believe.

Best GOAT moment of all time

In 14.1, on reflection, Nick Varner's first World 14.1 championship in 1980 represents one of the highest points pro pool ever reached.

In 1979, an upstart had beaten the legendary Joe Balsis to win his first World 14.1 championship. That upstart was named Mike Sigel. Surely, Nick Varner couldn't top pool's newest superstar, or could he? In a race to 200, Nick beat Mike in the final of the 1980 World 14.1 Championship and one of the greatest rivalries in the history of our sport was born.

I was present for both of these events, but the magnitude of these moments didn't come into full focus until I saw what these two were to accomplish.

Unknown cue help?

5-16x18 piloted pin. Extra long compared to adams/hemstetter cues. 29 inch butt. Any help appreciated.
