Its the Indian and not the arrow but what if the shaft is ten ounces instead of most shafts' four ounces and the butt is ten ounces versus most butts' 16 ounces? Finally a cue that is different from other cues --- a Black Blade cue.

Black Blade cues started as Liquid Weight cues which had another different idea. A better cue uses ball bearings in a viscous liquid to make it act like a dead blow hammer. Not for sale now.

Some have thought the present version, Black Blade cues, are okay. I suspect it is something that would work only for a new player. If you can't go to a trade show to try one of their cues, Black Blade will let you return a cue for the cost of shipping, handling, sales tax, and possible restocking fee. Maybe a $100 cost to try it out and return it?

Gambling remains illegal in Vietnam. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen but it definitely wouldn’t be discussed publicly on a stream or in relation to a high profile match.

we the public have no idea what deals were made or if any were. so all streaming matches are really just an exhibition. as a real gambling march happens in a poolroom and not on computer screens.

but you can be sure they got a fee for having it streamed.

I have a Pechauer Ice break shaft and I have to say I feel it's just too heavy up front at about 6 oz.. I am used to my Schon's at 19.5 oz and 19-19 1/4 balance.
I have really gotten to like my Jacoby's also where I have them weighted about 19.2 oz and balance at apx 18.5. I feel if you stray too far from that 18-19.5 oz and balance of 18- 19 1/4 while it may work for that one person the odds are against it.
If you are too forward balanced your cue will feel light in the rear, then again I struggle with a cue balance around 18 which happens with some carbon and Kielwood shafts.
I really like my Jacoby with a Rhino Must shaft and a 8 gr weight at the joint, total cue and shaft weight about 19.2 or.3 oz and a balance around 18 1/2. I also really like my other Jacoby with it's Kielwood shaft at about 19.2 oz and a balance of about 18 1/2. I did not like the Kielwood shaft at first the way it came at 3.5 oz, so I added .3 oz to it just in front of where the joint pin goes in and it made all the difference for me. I feel as long as their is enough forward weight the slight extra rear balance vs my Schon's actually steadies your stroke somewhat. Those of you with great strokes probably don't feel it matters.

So far as I know it works fine. Most vending machines now are probably mostly using credit cards or paper money, but when I was younger we had lots of vending machines all using coins.

My point, which might have been missed...

You could put on an exhibition event and through sponsorship money pay both players an appearance fee. Say, $15k each. Then put another $15k in the middle, so they will play hard.

Then one player is losing, badly, and decides that he'll take the $15k he was given (perhaps plus travel expenses) and start to mail in his effort instead of grinding like a champion.

SO...

Any idea if they were paid an appearance fee to participate in this event?
