Fedor Gorst on the Joe Rogan podcast today

I have always said that a celebrity doubles charity match between a team of Joe Rogan and Earl Strickland against Efren Reyes and Manny Pacquiao would make a ton of money on PPV and for a deserving charity of some sort.

that's a great idea. then get it to netflix or something

i the meantime, consider how big a boost just having fedor on joe's podcast potentially is. joe has around 10x the viewers/listeners than FOX, and 30x what CNN has..

Black Ferrules

house cues had black ferrels because the white ones would look terrible after a while on a house cue because they used chalk till it was worn out and the blocks rubbed the ferrel.

and white ferrels are in use as especially years back the rooms were darker and it made it easier to sight in.

since most wear black gloves i wonder why the bangers don't use black ferrels to match their gloves.

1990 US Open Sigel & Varner - 5 Inch Pockets

Pool hall by me (Romines) has a crapload of gold crowns with 5 gallon bucket pockets we call em.

It's where I go to feel good about myself if I am in a slump. You can hit the long rail halfway up and still pocket a cut shot in the corner. You can do crazy caroms with confidence in 9ball. It's not impossible to miss, but it's damn sure hard if you're trying to pocket balls.
Wow, you must be a really good pool player!!! If you are calling GC III pockets "5 gallon buckets" what are you calling Valley 7' table pockets?
What is your fargorate?

What killed the slip stroke?

Was the slip stroke used as a necessity for some because of that? I wasn’t entirely sure what it was for. I’ve tried it and found it easy enough to do but couldn’t understand what advantage it offered.
Necessity?

I highly doubt that.

More of a style I would say.

Advantage? I think in practical performance terms none. But like many things in pool it is psychological or ritualistic.

Did Brett Gordon break Eddies thumbs?

I was watching The Hustler the other day and I noticed something. The scene where Sarah came down the stairs at the mansion and told Eddie not to beg. That Burt was the man that broke his thumbs and it hit me!!!

Do you think that Burt put the word out on Eddie? The word to cripple him. Therefore getting Eddie to play for him? I know it sounds a bit crazy but another thing I noticed was when Burt came into the bar and he said to Eddie... Why the open bridge? Something wrong with the hands? Burt didn't see him take a shot when he said that 🤔

I could be reading way to much into it but I just caught that and it got me thinking of how dark and sinister Burt truly was.

Take all of the weight out of your break cue

nice trade. ignite G > DI
Was roughly 100$ extra his way. I am happy with that.
i'll definitely will give bulletproof a try.
Hope it works for you!
thanks man.
by the way my break cue weighs around 17.8oz, definitely fly off faster and crushes the rack better
I still didn't measure what mine weighs now. Will do it later.
