So I am asking is there any benefit to having an adjustable offset taper attachment compared to dedicated tailstock. In your opinion of course.
I would agree having taper bars would be better for a compound taper
I just felt the tail stock would be more solid and accurate. having an attachment sticking out of a chuck attachment might have more play and the offset attachment has to be made parallel to bed to be accurate. I'm sure it works, I just like the tailstock better

Practice what I Preach

Well the Preach that's aching to get out. That's code for another Grampa story. 😉
Partner in Scotch double ring game at 10 a man. 3 teams, ring game 9 ball.
Well me and my partner, uh had friction between us. The righteous mad I had generated in him with a disrespectful comment I made to my wife. As we were in citizen's divorce mode. My excuse is, I just wanted her to leave. He considered her, uh a second mother. Wow! We shot with only one missed ball, all night. I missed it and immediately switched to Leftie and we finished the night with, "I made Mine" in the glare. You would have thought well fist fight preliminary displays comes to mind.
I know we created in excess of a hundred maybe 140 each. 🤷‍♂️ not a bad Friday night at The Seed in Bellevue.

For pure feel, which wrap is best between Wild Stallion, Bison, Spanish Bull or Shrunken Goat?

It works.
My concern would be getting this chemicals repeatedly loaded into the linen and how much is being absorbed into you.

I love Renaissance wax and use it and Kramer's Best religiously to both clean and preserve my antique cues.

But I don't think using it in the same way as a beeswax is the best route to go.
