Hard could be the second grade or long and hard could be my Winchester. (The Winchester answer comes from a Granny joke in an old Playboy magazine.) Shrug

It was $950 when I bought it, just at tick over $1k now but still a great deal for a nice cue with a carbon shaft. I've had many cues that were more expensive, but this has become my favorite player ever.

I've had most kinds of production cues over the years and have settled on Joss. Old school designs, beautiful quality, reasonable prices.

I play on Diamonds nearly every day.
I have a very tight GC III in my basement and grew up on GC'S.
Love them both.
I'm probably wrong but the GC plays more solid to my way of thinking.
Love them both, both premier tables.

Got my GC with a box and converted it to a drop pocket. Getting my steps in. Something about walking around the table and throwing balls out that just appeals to me.
I don't understand why a good table mechanic cannot convert a GC VII to drop pockets.

By being able to execute a more perfect 'Timing/Tempo' to the stroke to accomplish the Most amount of effect with the least amount of effort/force!

This video is from 1983, the table is a Brunswick 10' a Centennial, 4-month-old cloth/non heated, No foreign substance applied to the CB!

Tell me, "Does it look like I'm hitting the CB hard/force for the effect I'm transferring to the CB"?

I think of one pocket more like soccer. Except for the very few goals and a few good scoring chances, the rest (at least 90 percent of the match) is just a bunch of guys running around the pitch.

I understand for people who know the game, there is all kinds of interesting stuff happening in that 90%. But without the knowledge I don’t get it.

To me that’s 1p. When the players are in the balls and running, it’s a beautiful game. The half an hour of bunting balls waiting for an opening is just bunting balls. Again, if you know the game all that chess is fascinating I’m sure. But if you don’t, it’s not interesting to watch, IMO.
