Another important teaching skill is learning to "read" the student and communicate in ways that will be readily understood. I learned about this skill when I discovered during my short teaching adventure (beginning pool) that I don't have enough of it.
The Caribe Royale resort has nice grounds. You do have to be outside a little to get to the tournament area as it's not all one solid building. Parking is expensive at about $40/day for both hotel guests and spectators, so Uber/Lyft/taxi might be useful.
