I must have missed this message from you. I vaguely remember Dave Bailey and his girl friend. Can't seem to recall the guy that ran the room at the bowling alley. It's been such a long time ago. Well over forty years ago. These days I barely remember what I had for dinner last night. Did I meet you when I was in that area? I played a lot in San Leandro and Alameda. Seems like every other weekend I went to Cochran and that room near by. (The Palace?) Alameda was great when the big ships came in. A lot of bar action and easy too.
I've had the Schrager for quite a while. A few cue makers have asked me to play with one of theirs and I did but I always gravitated back to the Schrager. The cue payed for it'self the very first day that I got it.
I hope to meet you someday. Later...........Frank
Hi there! I just read in a post you made (in a thread about Arkansas cuemakers from 2013) that Perry Weston had died. Is this true? I'm so sorry to hear this!!!!!! I had lost touch with him the last few years; knew that he bought a motor home and I believe was staying on his daughter's property in either North or South Carolina.....he was a great cuemaker and a good friend of mine. This is very sad news.
