I figured out how to put up the pics, please see attached. I had a 70s Adams and it had a different pin plus it wasn't a flat-faced joint. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
I've bought and sold a couple cues with you a few years back, so was hoping you might be able to help me ID a cue. Is there a AZ forum or person who knows old Adams cues? I picked up an unmarked cue, thought it might be a Coster but then decided it was more likely an old Adams. Unfortunately, AZbilliards server won't let me upload pics; I can't imagine why since I uploaded quite a few a couple years ago. Thanks.
I appreciate your prompt response, thanks. Do you know any identifying characteristics of a Coster? I only know about the barbells and rectangles / squares. Or someone that would be considered an expert on Coster? The irony is that my dad worked at Western Electric in Allentown undoubtedly knew Coster from work. If I knew back then what I know now, I'd have asked my dad to buy a cue (or 5) from him!
In the sixties we would cover pledges with molasses and sawdust, put the in the bed of a truck and drop them off 15 miles from campus. That’s Texas for you.
I have a fancy Josey built in 2011 with subtle inlays and presentation cocobolo/birdseye, two shafts, one of which is "timeless timber". It is my collection with limited use. Specs and photos available to your email, but I will not sell for less than $1500. Contact me if interested.
Hi Tanner... CeeBee here.. hope you are well. Things are great here, I'm another year old in September . I'll be 81. I'm still playing well & still selling BreakRAKs... Have a good one & gimme a call.
Have you ever figured out why Split the Difference works? I know Hal Houle there are only 3 or 4 shots in pool. 1/4, 1/2, center and maybe edge to edge. I like Mike's method in actual games, makes things much easier, no thinking or guessing.
Do you still have any information on Cobra cues and the Mizerak cues?? did you ever find a catalog? and original Price sheet? I have several of the Mizerak Professional series cue that I purchased from Steve after He and Miller split up. In fact I bought all of the Professional series that he had left. I used to have a catalog but I can not find it now.
I have a piece of Brazilian Rosewood, African Blackwood, A gorgeous piece of New Guinea Striped Ebony, Thuya Burl Squares, and some museum/exhibition pieces of Masur Birch Burl. I'm interested in the case with proceeds going to the V foundation. I haven't donated to a good cause since last Christmas. Please send me payment instructions. I am located in Hawaii so if there are concerns about that let me know. Mahalo, Mark
