I just wake up and chase the sun Gerald , my aunt said to me one time , the airport is just around the corner , I just cant sit in at home she said . Then comes a time when you get old and cant get out as much . My aunt must have lived to her early 90's .

Married without children she was carer for her husband until he passed away and time marched on until 3 or 4 years ago and a cousin brought her back home and it was decided that she would move in with Dad .

My aunt worked at Singers Factory in Clydebank , took up a job offer to work in New York USA maybe early 1950's but travelled back for visits and would say get your air fare and I'll put you's up for free . I never got the chance .

My aunt passed away last night . My sister spoke to her on Tuesday and everything's fine but last night the hospital phoned my sister to say my aunt had been in hospital for three days and passed away with Covid-19 .
