I just would like to say thank you for all that your doing for pool along with Jerry Forsyth,your both class acts.I know the forum upgrade was no easy task but it really is much better then it was and for free to us how can you beat it! :thumbup: Many members here owe you a big thanks,the networking that goes on here is invaluable and without this many pool businesses,projects and us pool nuts just might not make it.To those who can,buy a membership and show your support to the best pool site/forum in the world. :)

I am in also. Change is inevitable and it is not always perfect but it is almost always necessary. This is a great site and will get better with your help Mike.
 
Not since the BCA was first formed for the game...then...Conrad Burkman with the Billiard News, has 'Anything' come along as important to the Game/Sport of pool as AZ billiards. The Phillipines embraces the sport with Efren...ike Brazil embraced Pele with soccer. AZ is the vehicle that now can take the lead with a sport equal to all others. Keep up the good work and hang in there.

I don't get it. When somebody does something in pool that others perceive as wrong, everyone is all over it. But when somebody does something that is undeniably good, hardly anybody pays any attention (as witnessed by the few responses to this post).

Thanks Mike and Jerry. Since the upgrade, I can't see some peeps avatars -- just get the blue block with a "?" in the middle. Is that because I'm on a Mac perhaps (technically challenged). :shrug:

Maybe we should start a thread called "AZHousePro involved in calcutta-scandal, beat up 2 women and 1 child and took the money"

When people click to read it we could say thanks for what you are doing Mike. Would get more than 40 pages in one day, imo :D


I am not one of them who will say thanks, though, since this site is one of my addictions. If it wasn't for Mike and this site I would probably do more work, spend more time with family and friends + play more pool.

I hate you Mike! ;)

I see it, too, and i'm not on a mac. I was a victim of the avatar monster. I tried and tried and tried to upload my avatar again, to no avail. FINALLY, it worked. I knew if I tried long enough, they would get it fixed.

I haven't checked on it today, but I was having a reload problem, yesterday. For instance, I might see that I had a pm, but if I went to my ucp, it said I didn't. I finally figured out to reload the page and it would usually show up. Sometimes, I had to reload more than once. Like I said, I haven't tried yet, today. I have sometimes wondered if the problems were more related to the browser I use, because lots of sites are only set up to work with IE. We use Opera on both our computers, because it is much lighter weight and doesn't give us near as much trouble. It doesn't work well with a few sites, though. Sure hope the forum webmasters make it a priority to work with all the browsers possible, because I'm sure there are many being used!

The forum has been having issues that lasted much longer than I had anticipated, but it is evident there were some major changes which took effect, so I've tried to be really patient with the return to "normal" status. I was mostly thrilled just because we got the forum back, finally. Being without it for so long was really rough!! I was glad to have it back and just be able to read and post and muddle my way through the rest of it, until they get it finished.

Good job forum webmasters!! You have been true blue dedicated guys!! Thank you!:thumbup:

You're right, Roger, but it's no different than the local news. It's all about murder, celebrity failures, and disasters.

That's what sells.

Anyway, you're also right that these guys aren't thanked enough. Thank you Mike and Jerry. Looking forward to meeting you guys at the SBE.

Also Mr. Wilson, who has to play kindergarten cop half the time.
 
I see Mike around town and at tournaments and thank him all the time. I didn't feel it was necessary for me to say it again on here. He knows how I feel and I consider him to be on a very short list of people I call my friends. The fact that he runs AZB is just a bonus. He would be my friend anyways. With that said he does a great job. JMO.
