Here you go. This is kind of a Gold Crown one/two....lol, meaning it started out as a nightmare, that being said...it came with 3 GC1 rails, 3 GC2 rails, a Gandy SHALLOW shelf slate, and triple shimed...that's 3 1/8th inch shims on both side of the pockets, and loose enough to wiggle them around, and stiff Super Speed cushions.
So, the first project was to replace the Super Speed cushions with Artemis Intercontinental K55 cushions. Then I tightened up the pockets by extending the rails, added 3/16" neoprene facings, changed the angles...and NOW, the pockets are 4 3/8" corners, 4 7/8" sides. Corner pocket angles are now 142 or 52 degrees depending on how you want to look at it, with a 15 degree down angle. Sides are 102 or 12 degrees, with a 15 degree down angle.
Simonis 860HR, stretched to 2 1/2" side to side...tight, and man I mean TIGHT!!
Then...the slate, well the Gandy just had to go...any one want a free Gandy slate??????????....LOL I replaced the Gandy slate...but NOT with a Brunswick Slate as one might think...no, not that slate, not for THIS table...LOL
I took a used Diamond 30mm Professional 3 piece deep shelf slate and put that on this table...LOL
Re-drilled all 18 rail bolt holes, and re-drilled and moved the slate screws on the ends of the slate closer to the corner pockets. All slate screws are now 1/4" x 20 x 4" machine screws with washers and nyloc nuts holding the slate to the frame.
All I can say...is this is a ONE OF A KIND GOLD CROWN 1-2.
It plays unbelievable, it's tight pocketed...rejects balls not made right, and laughs at you if you try cheating the corner pockets...LMAO
And I handed Jeff his butt in the first 2 games of one pocket, 8-1 and 8-3...but I'm NOT telling anyone Jeff
