Dennis Hatch needs a stake horse!

Id rather see Rodney play anyways. Rodney is tha man!


I probably wasnt gonna buy the match before.(I cant sit still long enough to watch anything). But if rodneys in then im buying for sure.

i have been with my stakehorse for 5 years ... he showed alot of faith in me when i first started playing american pool in 2006 he put me in the box when we spent lot of time in philippines against the likes of corteza,kiamco,gabica,pena,valle,gomez de luna ,and other players. fortunatley we come out of it on the right side but could have easily lost 20k plus..and the same when i first come to states giving weight against good players and also playing the likes of svb,wiseman,bartram,townend,pinegar etc.....

also i believe the players ask for too much %% of stakehorses which puts people of backing players..

i have a set % and have done for most of my career 25% is fair i believe..and thats what i always ask for ...if people want to give me more then good..if they give me less then next time i dont ask them or let them stake me in the middle!!

anyway hope dennis hatch gets stakehorse if not am sure me and rodney will have great match..:)

4 years ago when you were coming to america, you (or your stake) posted that you were looking for 10k action in USA. You were offered to play Dennis, you refused and said anyone but him, as he plays too good for the money.

I have to disagree with you Jay. I have fallen in love with the new rules from WPA.

I used to dislike them, but have played much more with them lately and I like it better then playing with the regular 9-ball rules.

Just have to accept that it's two different games.

Hope you and Rodney both play good and that it's a hard fought match. I am betting with my heart here because Rodney is my friend and one of my pool heros. I think it's a coin toss and depends on who hits the gear at the right time.

Anyone who thinks Dennis Hatch is scared to play any player on the face of the earth doesn't know Dennis Hatch. He's fearless, and that's what makes him strong! ;)

I hope Dennis makes some -- not all -- of the folks on this thread eat a hefty helping of crow. :thumbup:

I can't think of too many players in the world who would enjoy playing Dennis Hatch with no weight, even Steven. They'll be leaving town with empty pockets. That's for sure! :thumbup:

3 years ago when i first started playing there was loads of players i wouldnt have played not just dennis.. i just started playing the game... wasnt ready now i feel am ready...

your entitled to your opinion dennis been best player in world for money..

but i can think of a few guys better than him for money imo..

well he got until end of weekend to post money otherwise rodney can step in..
