I'm a lazy procrastinator but when I have too, I do. I hate the job of writing checks and addressing envelopes, but, I refuse to have a Paypal account and Jay refuses to do credit cards, so, check for two copies will be in mail today.

Don't feel bad Dave, I don't like addressing envelopes either and I just did a few hundred!
I think this part is harder than writing the book. Everyone knows me at the post office already. I've become a regular, and I can't even get a game.![]()
Hey Jay, your an early riser. You must behave yourself and go to bed early. I'll give you a game. I'll play you a game of straight to 100, even, no weight required. All you have to do is come to Racine.

#378 checking in on my book reading. I am up to the part where The Big Indian Kid got into a battle royale in Jay's pool hall and got his ass handed to him. Great read so far![]()
Not a great book (I've high standards for books), but certainly well worth the read. Pool players will undoubtedly find it interesting and I think quite a few others might as well.
Then again, Truman Capote was no Jay Helfert. I don't think I would feel comfortable asking Capote if he wanted to run a few balls. If ya know what I mean, and I think ya do...Well, it's already been established that Jay is no Truman Capote. :grin-square:

Procrastination has been overcome. The check for 4 copies is on its way. I deliveried it personally to the Wells Fargo office and they assured me that it would go on the next wagon. It may be across the Mississippi by this time.

Dave, Haven't you ever heard of the Pony Express? Costs a little more but well worth it!
Dave Nelson, I know you. How are you?Damn, I've got to learn to pay more attention to the details.
