The best players are from Utah. How could a guy with multiple wives really care what time he gets home a night? Mormons keep a low profile-- but they can play pool.
IMO this is for organized sports.
Pocket Billiards is still considered a Game.![]()
The post was made in gest. I was trying to enjoy the thread.
Wasn't the great Tony "hurricane" Ellin from NC....
Jeez, nobody has mentioned AL? Our current crop of home-grown talent includes, uhhhhh, well, ahh crap. Oh well, at least Henny and Scotty live here now, and guys like Squirrel, Junior, and Mizerak are from here![]()
Negative ghostrider...Tony Ellin was from Miami, Fl. Moved to Georgia, then the Carolinas...which makes him a Floriganian
Voodoo~~~laughin'
Options:
GA - Cliff Joyner, Stevie Moore, Johnny Archer, Louis Ulrich, Bruce Berrong, Kim Davenport
IL - Ike Runnels, Justin Bergman, Marco Marquez, Santos Sambajon, James Baraks, Jesse Bowman, Jamie Baraks
NY - Dennis Hatch, Thorsten Hohmann, Mika Immonen, Tony Robles
NC - Mike Davis, Mike Fuller, Earl Strickland, BJ Ussery, Norris Brady, Ron Parks, Sparky Ferrell
TX - Jeremy Jones, Sylver Ochoa, David G, CJ Wiley, Rodney Morris, Charlie Bryant, Jui Lung Chen
Well since nobody else has I'll nominate the Iowa/Illinois border with Chad Vilmont Josh Johnson, formerly Jon Kucharo, Jesse Bowman Jamie Barracks at one point when all the champions were playing it would have been very hard to bet against these guys. for whatever reason though if your from iowa or illinois after you get to or near the top of the ladder you learn to hate pool.

4 Player team I have to go with NY. All around have to give it to TX.
Iba, Joyner and Hillbilly are both "Tarheels."
From your own mouth, Oklahoma produced ONE player who beat everyone in your beloved NC. His name was Walden!

MISSOURI:
Larry Hubbard
Terry Bell
Louie Roberts
CJ Wiley
David Matlock
Danny Harriman
Andy Quinn (former Jr National Champ and BCA Open Champion)
Rusty Brandemeyer (who no one had to beat playing banks)
and I'll take the liberty of adding Justin Bergman, even though he lives in Illinois but is mainly regarded as a St Louis player.
Then there is a slew of top shortstops that could be added to the list.
