This is an awesome thread!
Just wondering... In that picture, is that Danny Basavich in the window?
Good eye, Blackjack!

This is one of my favorite pool room pictures. It is of Golden Cue in Albany, New York. The tournament has ended, and it's time to go home. The winner, clutching his trophy, is peering inside one last time, contemplating whether he should stay or not, as he watches another player counting his cabbage. To leave or not to leave, that's the question!:grin-square:
I don't understand why it says "Green Room" on the sign in front of the building, as depicted above, but the name of the pool room is Snookers. Here is their emblem. You have to go up a flight of stairs to get there. It is a historic building, which used to be a jewelry store of high-priced items. The huge antique safe is still on site inside the pool room. Kind of cool!![]()
If im not mistaken they called it the green room becsue there was a seprate room with with a snooker or a three cusion table and it was like a lounge area but i havnt set foot in there since 2000 and yes the food is among the best i ever had!!!!
