The butt of this cue was recently refinished & wrapped by South West and has not been used since and looks new. It comes with Letter of Authenticity from South West. The cue is six points of Cordia (Central American Bacote) into a Birdseye maple nose. The cue weighs 18.8 ounces and comes with one 13 mm shaft. It is straight together and apart. A nice example of a very early South West.

As a side note included in the L.O.A. this cue spent 20 years in the Nevada State Prison system and was periodically dropped off at the shop by prison employees to have the tip changed. The cue was released with it's owner in 2005.

$$$$$ shipped and insured to the lower 48. Price is firm. PayPal is fine. No trades on this one. Thanks for looking. If not satisfied just return the cue in same condition within 48 hours for a full refund minus return shipping.
Cue is SOLD

With that 13 mm shaft... well, if I wasn't into something else I'd buy this one, nothing else. Awesome figuring in the butt sleeve as well. You can tell by just looking at it that it is a very solidly built cue.
Good luck with the sale!!!

Tiny,
IS IT THE ORIGINAL, OR A REPLACEMENT SHAFT?

THE BACOTE LOOKS AWESOME, AND THE STORY IS COOL.

haha thats exactly what i PM him about, the pin, i believe is a DPK, since i have a friend down here with one similar to this SW with the big hole on the top of the pin.

Dpk?

Hi Kevin
David was working at the shop around the time the cue was made but the build sheets only list the particulars of the cue and don't address who worked on it. Any cue coming out of the shop at that time would be authenticated as a South West. I have only seen one LOA authenticating a cue as a South West that actually mentioned the maker by name and that was just recently and it mentioned both Jerry and David as having worked on the cue. I think that particular cue was actually started at Kersenbrock Cue Service and finished at South West.
Regards, Roger

Roger....Laurie didn't say this could possibly be a DPK? Sure looks like one.

must have made a lot of money for the guards and their sweat betting for them to take an inmate's cue to get maintained......LOL
