How is this humanely possible? It wasn't all that long ago that this forum was inundated with threads by people that had been screwed by KV. These threads get annoying at times. Whilst there are some "cuemakers" that are clearly way over their heads when it comes to taking care of all the things involved with it. The customer service aspect fails them miserably. I don't think that is the case with KV. Earlier it seems he bit off more than he could chew with taking orders for cues. Think about it, when was the last time you heard about a complaint about him? It sounds like Petros just got a little antsy about the things when he didn't get an immediate response. Sometimes people don't understand patience.

I actually told the OP in PM that it had looked like KV had cleaned up his act a little. But that doesn't mean he can't go back to doing it.
Two of the threads already linked to are under that timeframe. My own transaction with Varney is less than a year old as well. Now we also have this transaction with Petros. That makes 4 just in the past year.He put the time and effort in to get caught up on his orders. There hasn't been any complaints (that I'm aware of) about KV in over a year.
Truly? It took me tracking down Varney's home address and getting in touch with his local sheriff's department to get my money back. Personally, I haven't seen any similar threads about any other cue makerI can list about 20 other cue makers that I have either had personal experience with or have heard about that have similar horror stories.

I believe that when you give a person a finished date, that you should be finished on or before that date. True, there are sometimes extenuating circumstances, but you can only use the "death in the family" excuse so many times before you don't have any more family left to blame it on. Speaking of, I find it appalling that someone would use THAT particular excuse over and over again. I sure wouldn't want karma to come back and bite me for it.Some people understand this, some don't. Those who can't be patient and understand that when a cue maker tells you 6 months, it really means 12 months shouldn't order custom cues.

Before you start yelling at me!!YES, there are cue makers who can and do deliver on time, but I believe they are the exception, not the rule.
Yikes....not something new customers want to hear, especially ones that don't have cues. Sure things happen and cues should not be rushed or else they will lack in quality, but how much time should this be stretched? Is it really just a guideline when a time frame is given? I agree not the best way to get repeat business IMO regardless if the product is still of good quality. Not all of us have 3-5 cues and can just wait for one to be made, especially when we are possibly trying to play pool serious and do not want to lose the fire from waiting!
