Let's See Your Schon! Pictures Please.

so i was the last one to post on here about wanting one and now I have one. I have been shooting with it since April and I love it. I have it with a predator 314 shaft and it's great!! But I do not know what kind of Schon it is or how old it is. I've emails Schon about it like 5 times and no replies. I looked at everyones schon that posted here and no one has one. The person I got it from did not have any info on the cue, he is a friend and gave it to me as a wedding gift.

Does anyone know what schon ID this is, how old it is or anything about it? It looks like some of the newer ones but it's not. Sorry these are the only pics I have of it right now.

Very nice!

Congrats, you got yourself a very nice Schon! It looks really elegant and I very like the butt sleeve design with those rings!

Here are a couple of mine for sale by Erik Lee Cues....

Both play VERY well, Scott

This is my Evan Clark customized Schon. Work done about ten years ago. I believe this pre-dated the BW series of Epoxied wrap cues.

My Schon....

This Schon wasn't given a model number but here's what Evan said about it when I sent him pics..Sorry the pics are so grainy, I took them with my phone.

"Hi, I didn't give this a model number which is a common practice. It's a fancy
wood variation on my R12 cue and worked out to be very pretty. I only made 4 or 5 of them...Evan Clarke"

Nice cue, Ive never seen one with a sealed wrap/wood handle./QUOTE]

Chuck,

I played with a Meucci for years and liked the smooth handle. The Schon was purchased around 1990(??). Loved everything but the green / white linen wrap. Evan offered to modify it for a very reasonable price. Mine became truely a "one of a kind" Schon Custom Cue. Everyone who has tried it is taken by the balance, hit and feel. 19 0z on the nose.

Now that I can finally post... In the first pic, top one is from around the SL-series days and is 1 of 2 and the bottom one is my SP-20 that I shoot with whenever I play. Looking to sell the 1 of 2 since I don't really play anymore.

The SP-20 was my first Schon back around 1991 or so. What a beautiful cue that is. Mine was a touch darker than this one pictured. All of my cues now are big name custom cues but I kind of miss that Schon. I sold it to a friend of mine quite a few years ago. I don't see him much anymore but when we do run into each other it's nice to see my old cue.

Tq for all and forgive for my poor english

That's an r-9 model, kind of a plain design but one of my favorites because of the windows in the ebony butt. The butt has been modified for some reason, and that makes it hard to give a price. Where are you located? If I could see the cue in person I might be interested in purchasing or trading for the cue.

Hey, eezbank. The new wrap looks real nice. Glad you're still enjoying the cue. I still think that's one of the best looking cues Schon has ever made. The pattern & coloration all just melds very well.
Take care & enjoy!

Did you do those pics?

Great thread....

The R12 is one of my favorite cues and I am still looking for the right one...

I only have this plane STL3 but it plays great and the gray stain is kinda unique.
