YES! You read that right. We are starting a Nationwide 10 Ball Tour. Mike Howerton from AZ Billiards is working on the website, www.teamdmiro.com -- the website is NOT up yet.

DMIRO (Don't Miss I'll Run Out)

Tonight I have sent out a mass e-mail to pool rooms around the nation. We are doing 25 stops in major cities across the US.

Then hopefully next season we can make it larger. We have top sponsors, all of which will be released when Mike gets the website done.

What I need is players across the US to e-mail me, once you e-mail me I will send you a .pdf file that I ask you to print off and give it to your local pool room owners, and have them contact me to be added to the tour. This is going to save us MASSIVE amounts of money, and prevent us from dong a mass snail-mailing. THEREFORE I don't have to spend sponsorship dollars to mail this file out, and those sponsorship dollars will be added to the tour stops! So you help me out and we can add more money to the stops!

ALSO Please only give it to rooms that have 9 foot tables. They must have at minimum 12 tables, with decent cloth! (preferably Simonis)

So, e-mail me; request the pdf file and I will e-mail it to you. Let the room owners know that some dates are taken as of now, however, in the pdf file that isn't updated, becuase I want to talk to as many room owners as I can! This way I can talk to them about next season where we are going to try and do 40+ stops! e-mail me at teamdmiro@gmail.com

Also if you are interested in being a sponsor of the tour, we do have some spots still open. E-mail me with your company name, products, and I will send you information on being a sponsor.

I also expect to see all of you out on the tables when we hit the road in August.

Open/Pro $100.00 Entry - $10.00
Amateur $65.00 Entry - $10.0 (with no objections from the feild some players may play as amateur)

Thanks,

Mike Andrews

Thanks,

I do think all players on here should e-mail for the pdf to give to their local pool room that fits DMIRO specs. Allen Hopkins has done a lot for pool over a long period of time. At least we can do this for him. It won't cost anything...you go to the pool room anyhow. Johnnyt

Congratulations to Allen Hopkins and to you Mike Andrews!

The AZ Billiards crew can't wait to hear the details of this tour. 25 stops is a lot of stops.

I'm sending my email address to obtain the .pdf file. Can't wait to review the details. 40 stops sounds even better. :D

Hope you make it down south to New Orleans. Allen used to make a visit to us on occasion to try and pick up a little cash from Earl Heisler many years ago.

Best of luck with the tour.

Emailers

Mike,
Another thing, you might want to consider asking the interested emailers to provide you with their city and state. That way you will know if the cities you are interested in are being covered or not.

If you can think of other cities and rooms that host tournaments please feel free to send the .pdf to them this is a very plain and basic list!

Cities

Haha, ok Detriot too.... I have Michigan on my list... However, forgot to add Detriot to the list.

I have been to Detriot its gonna be scary to be in the city after dark in a pool hall.... hmmmm

lol, just joking, send me your e-mail address and I will send you the pdf file...

a pool room with nothing but 9 footers in houston is goign to be a bit tough, i dont think there are many

I think that goes for all of Tx. Whoever started the saying "everything is bigger in TX" didn't play pool. Most of the pool rooms I've been in out there have 8 ft tables and maybe 2 or 3 (if that) 9 ft tables. I never quite understood why but for whatever reason, it seems TX is an 8 ft table state.

Texas

Yeah I have been getting that kind of feedback, so any pool room in any city in Texas, if not, we can omit texas from the tour and look in a bit north of texas. Arkansas? Oaklahoma?

Also, I don't think I can post the pdf file here...

pdf

Acctually I see that I can... However, if people e-mail me I can manage and know where it is going and what cities. Most of you guys have e-mailed me told me about your rooms, and your cities so I know where this is going! Rather then just posting it and putting it in la la land!

Keep the e-mails comming I am getting a GREAT responce!!!
