Did anyone else that was at Borderline Billiards or watching the stream yesturday notice Allison Fisher after a match that she won by 7-1 take time after it to give the girl she beat tips on her game for a few minutes? I'm almost positive that's what she was doing. If that wasn't what she was doing, she still has enough class for the whole tour and the WPBA tour has a lot of class acts including Anne from their business office. Johnnyt

nice..loree jon did that when she beat my wife back in the day...spent a good half hour with her after their match..all class, nice to see

Allison is an amazing woman. Extremely talented, very attractive, and exudes charm and class. She never fails to surprise me with some of her shots.

I'm glad to see this thread. We in the billiard world are fortunate to have Allison Fisher in our midst. Not only is she a great player (the best woman player of all time), but she is a exceptional human being, who carries herself with grace and dignity always. I feel fortunate to call her my friend and a dear friend she is, full of humor and charm, not to mention she remains humble in spite of her remarkable achievements.

Allison deserves all the accolades that are bestowed on her and then some. She is a genuinely sincere and caring individual who serves as a role model for all the other women players to emulate. Plus she is an intelligent advocate for women's pool who communicates well on any issues that arise affecting the WPBA. When her playing days are over, the WPBA would do well to make her their Commissioner.

Johnny, how'd you see that? Were you there or is there a second camera I don't know about?

By the way, day two updates are up on www.insidepoolmag.com. The girl Allison beat 7-1 had come off of some VERY strong wins...

I wasn't there. They had the camera on the last of thier match. I'm deaf, but not blind lol. Johnnyt

I gotta tell you, Johnny, I was ready to be mad if you told me you were there and didn't say hi!

I had no idea they ever took the camera off the main table...

But back on topic...Yes, that was a classy move by a classy lady indeed. :)

I was looking at the board about six feet away while Chelsea was getting advice...probably should've been eavesdropping instead. ;)

I would never, I say never not say hi to you if I was there:smile:. JT

thats why there's more money in women's pool than men's. CLASS!!!!

I just couldn't say enough great things about Allison. Her reign is, if not the #1, at least in the top 5 of all sports of all time. What a combination of dominance and graciousness. I'm glad I have an interest in pool and have gotten to see her over the years.

I've given tips to people I was beating, but they rarely considered it classy!

I gave a guy a tip once. I told him he might want to go to the bank before they close because the ATM will charge him a fee. :p

...needless to say, he didn't find it funny. ;)

Allison is, has been, and no doubt will continue to be, a treasure for the game we all love. If you're around her you can't help but notice the grace she treats people with - even when the "camera" isn't on her. She is very special.

I was fortunate to see that match. I had it on the big screen at my pool hall. A few people came in just to see it. It was really good. We talked about on how woman are starting to get up their and make names for themselves. She did a really good job, all the ladies did. Kudo's to them!

I've met Allison a couple of times and she is the type of player/person anybody would want as a representative for their business or tour.

Allison Fisher is one of the greatest assets to happen to pool. Always full of class, whether she wins or loses... and she's usually winning

Ashea Erdhal recounted a similar experience with Allie when she was commentator on a few of the matches. Allie gave her a donut then gave her encouragement and pointers after the match. Allie is great.
