Ok Roy I will take the sweat bet of $50 that Grady will finish higher than Jasmin. After all this I have to show some faith in my player. I am sure Jasmin is completely fired up this year but I am equally sure that all of her opponents will trying very hard to play her as if she were any other player and not get flustered.

Steve's report put this into a little more perspective for me. I think if the male players play like they normally do then Jasmin will have it a lot tougher to get through her bracket. Not that she won't and not that she can't win, just that I expect it to be tougher.

And the pressure is on Grady as well after all everythign that has gone before now he has his spot and we will see if the old bull has still got it.

Should be interesting if they get matched up. If they do in the tournament then I will bet a further $50 on Grady to win that game.

Deal JB, also on the additional $ 50 (each possible match? group + single elimination?) if they happen to play eachother in the tournament.

If I win, consider it more added $$$ in the "if I keep losing Roy will get a free case from me"-fund that you started earlier this year ;)

Bottom line , this World 14.1 Championship obviously means alot to Grady Mathews to be a part of it. DP has the power to get him in. It's just a pool tournament.

Seems everyone is ASSUMING that Grady will now play. Until we hear from him, it is all conjecture.
 
its actually very awesome to see pool drama being smoothed over and this long standing feud worked out. major props for doing this CW. :thumbup:
