I am jumping the gun a little, but I got some pics of a conversion in progress of a butterfly Victor cue that I think will look kind of neat. Going with a green and white linen wrap and a few more dots in the forearm and a bit more ivory in the butt.

What do you think?

You know you guys should maybe start your own thread about "wood in the hand".

Seriously, though, I have a lot of cues that are wrapless and that I like playing with, but I was going for an older look and I think a green and white specked linen wrap might give it to me.

Dennis, who's doing the work? I like the black dots up the maple forearm.
Mr H

Scot Gracio is doing it.He's fairly new and very good. I've bought three John Davis blank conversions from him and he is doing two Titlist conversions for me now. He also did a fantastic silver ivory and ebony cue for tikkler. http://www.graciocues.com/

He said to me earlier that he was thinking of adding the dots in the maple. After I looked at the Blue Book and saw a few examples I told him to go for it.

That is going to be a sharp looking old school cue. I cant wait to see the finished product.

I already commented in your thread in "for sale" but I'll repeat, that cue turned outreally nice. Good choice of wrap too, adds to the old school style of the cue.

Thanks. I received it yesterday and it hits real nice, too.
