I am not one who is big on the whole rhyming name thing, like Shannon "the cannon" Earl "the pearl"

Anyway, I was thinking what would be a good name for Cliff Joyner, and it dawned upon me.

Cliff "Tuesday" Joyner If you are having a hard time figuring out this name, think of what Whimpy from Popeye says.

His new name is Cliff "The Hitch" Joyner. If you've seen him play lately you'll understand.

Well that didn't take long...

It sure didn't take long for this thread to start moving south. When I read the title I knew what was in store. The thing is.. you DON'T have to hand it over. Sure they may ask but you can always decline. Personally I like cliff and like watching him play. If I loaned him money(and I have) I wouldn't really expect to get it back ( it's that way with lots of folks i know) I give it because I want to, not because they "fooled me" into doing it. There may be some time that I need a little help ya know?

And yes Jay, I have noticed what you're eluding to. It was very pronounced the last couple of times I've seen him play. I have NO IDEA why he started doing that

We were told that Cliff had hurt his shoulder last year,
and he had a torn rotator cuff.
Never got it direct from Cliff, just what we were told.

What is the rotator cuff?

The rotator cuff is the group of four tendons that stabilize the shoulder joint.
The tendons hook up to the four muscles that move the shoulder in various directions.

There are four muscles whose tendons form the rotator cuff: the subscapularis muscle,
which moves the arm by turning it inward (internal rotation); the supraspinatus muscle,
which is responsible for
elevating the arm and moving it away from the body; the infraspinatus muscle, which
assists the lifting of the arm during turning
the arm outward (external rotation); and the teres minor muscle, which also helps in
the outward turning of the arm.

What is rotator cuff disease?

Rotator cuff disease is damage to the rotator cuff from any cause.
This condition is one of the most common causes of shoulder pain.

How is the rotator cuff injured?

The rotator cuff can be injured because of degeneration with aging or
inflammation due to tendinitis, bursitis, or arthritis of the shoulder.
The rotator cuff is commonly injured by trauma (such as from falling
and injuring the shoulder or overuse in sports). Rotator cuff injury is
particularly common in people who perform repetitive overhead motions
that can stress the rotator cuff. These motions are frequently associated
with muscle fatigue.

Cliff "The Bitemaster" Joyner

:D Cliff gives up weight better than anyone who has ever lived, but he actually "Bites" (borrows money) even better than he plays so that will explain my nickname. No one is even close to his biting ability. :D :p :D
