"Dear Bruce,

On behalf of Sterling Gaming I will donate $500 worth of our equipment from our return shelves. Tell us what really need and we can cherry pick the equipment and try to fill up the order.

You tell me where to to send the stuff."

Well yesterday John's Package arrived and I tool it over the the Peoria AZ Boys, and Girls Club. When the staff open the box they could not believe there eye, one of them said "New Cues", I said yes, and there were 15 that John had arranged that is boss at Sterling Gaming sent, the value was WAY OVER the $500 worth John said he would send.

FYI. Hope John start posting again.

John represents the core values of the entire Sterling Gaming family. Scott Taylor, owner, is always looking for ways to advance our game, but he will drop everything when someone needs help.
Immediately after Katrina, Scott and John went out and rented a van, threw some rescue signs on the side and some security lights on top, loaded up some supplies and took off for LA to do whatever they could to help.

They are very good people, and I encourage everyone to do business with them whenever possible. If you're buying pool stuff anyway, why not support the people who regularly do this kind of thing?

Amen..Sterling has a RETAIL SIDE called Cuesight....

Class move all the way. These little things like this can mean bigger things for pool in the future. This is the type of grass roots stuff that helps get this game off the ground.

Good stuff CC. When people make a generous donation like that you can tell it was done out of the goodness of their heart. I know that I'll keep Sterling in the back of my mind the next time I need something.
BTW, you should take some pics of the cues and rec club and post them for us.

Well said Steve
It's good to know that about Sterling Gaming

Cowbody will have these kids buying up Szamboti's by the time they hit 16...

I heard he is in Rehab.

You know i just noticed that ste r ling (ste a ling) is like stealing or lying (ste r lying) combined into the same word.

How symbolic it is very funny it took me this long to see it scott, very nice hidden message. Did you think of it all by yourself?

John Barton posted a few months ago that he was taking a hiatus from posting. He and his wife were blessed with child, and he's got a thriving business going. There is a whole lot more to life than pool, and if you put all your eggs in one basket, it's never a good thing.

I have met him several times in person, and he is, without a doubt, one of the most intelligent people I have met on the tournament trail. He's actually a very good man. I guess there's a lot of people on this forum that after you meet them in person, they are a lot different than their forum personality.

Take me, for instance! :o:rolleyes::eek::(:grin-square::wink:

This is a totally uncalled for post. Makes me sad that something so childish would be said publicly like about someone that is just trying to do good for kids. Guess that is what type of character Jamison is:rolleyes:

lol I love John Barton and he is very smart...no doubting that. If you think for one second that that company is doing anything out of the hearts then you are not very smart...

It's all PR and, they sent you table scraps. The minimum amout to buy you is how they probably decided how much to send. Remember I was in on their meetings. I feel like I am being a good person by warning everyone to not deal with these guys.

You are cheap advertisment to them nothing else. the kids are just future cheap advertisment.

My character is one of honesty, and loyalty you are right maybe I should forgive them...It is very hard to the last three times I gave them my forgivness they lied and stole from me again.

This is not the public BTW their is like 200,000 people on here and probably this thread will get 100 different viewers...lol lol they may click it 5 times a piece to equal 500 hits and that is only because the thread is turning negative thanks to me...lol

Notice how I have not wrote in any other threads about how great stealyings(sterling) is... you have started 10 in the last few days. all that work is why they sent you 500 dollars worth of chinese goods...to them its about 50 dollars...lol you are now their PR minister of propaganda and you went for less than 100 dollars.lol

They are smart that is how they are slaving you for peanuts...and you think they care...lol

It says Dieckman cues. My opinion is that he makes a superior cue.

Sterling (stealying) are just a middle man for people that dont know that they can be cut out of most deals..buying direct from their suppliers is an option.

Another lie from the big J. I worked there for 2 years and the strongest drink I ever had was a Mountain Dew. That includes at lunch, christmas parties at Scott's place, after hours "meetings" at the pool room.

Nobody twisted anyone's arm to do anything other than what they were being paid to do. If anyone is doing any "twisting" here, I think we know who it is.
