I would appriciate your vote on Monday for the 5th spot on the Mosconi Cup.
A 5 man team of individual champions has to find a way to come together as a team . This happens when you check your ego's at the door and realize that you are playing for your country and all the fans that support you all year long.
Yeah, the money is great but it doesn't compare to hoisting that trophy in the air after you've just won the " Mosconi Cup ". I know, I was on the last winning team in 2005 and there is nothing like it in the whole world !
I believe that I would be a great 5th for the team cause I already went through the nerves and the pressures of being on the team already.
I am a great team player who can rally and keep a team pumped up the whole 4 days .
My ranking has been in the top ten for the last 5 years and I am good friends with the other 4 players already picked so everybody will be comfortable with erverybody on the team !

Shawn said on another thread he's privy to the list already. Would be a good addition.

i'm on the list

Nice OP Shawn, I can feel your genuine desire and enthusiasm. It was great to meet you Friday at Breakers in Greensboro. Man, this is going to be a battle for the vote and I wish you a lotta good fortune. I'll deliberate until the last moment and then close my auction at Ebay. ;) J/K!

What was your record in '05, and who'd you pair up with?

As coreyh stated in another thread, "If it were up to me, the 8 finalists on Matchroom's list would be the next 8 top Americans on the BCA points list not already on the team - Putnam, Williams, Bryant, Moore, Morris, Davenport, Hatch, and Schmidt." I'm pretty sure this is going to be the actual list. And if that's the case, I say we all vote for Shawn! He's consistent! That's what the USA team needs! Go Shawn!!

Ok so I will vote for you but here are the terms.

If you win by 1 vote, you have to give me 10% of your winnings! LOL...

Shawn,

I won't be voting for you. Class is important in the team members, that is apparently why most favor Earl not being on the team. Your post in the Earl thread lacks class so I'll have to pass over you too and see what other players are available. A bit too much glee at Earl and his fans expense in my opinion.

(From the other thread, red highlight by Hu)
Earl is not gonna be on the team this year !
I just found out who is on the list of players that you can vote for and Earl is not one of them !
Sorry all you Earl lovers. LOL

So let's focus on winning this Mosconi Cup and who the best player to vote in will be and for what reason.

highest ranked player not already selected

Gonna quote another thread here:

The highest ranked player not on the Mosconi Cup team gets my vote

I don't know who it is, but they deserve the selection.

Looks like it is Putnam.
