After running flow coefficient calculations all day I hopped online to help refresh myself in Trigonometry to convert degrees to percent.
I got on AZ to just veg out for a while and now this....
I was just thinking "why am I reading this ridiculous thread" and now I'm right back in the zone.
 
I definitely see some jealousy towards her. I am also sure some of it is based on her appearance. Me and a buddy were watching a womens match the other day. When it started,he asked me "why is nick varner playing bert kinister"?

My impression of the whole Mary saga is this....

I read a thread Who is Mary Avina.... I click some links, check out her website, watch a few videos, look at some pictures. She's good looking and appears to play the innocent, sultry, giggly girl persona well. She also appears to take lots of pictures of herself in poses meant to appeal to what makes a guy a guy:grin:

I got a kick out of watching all the guys come on that thread, doing what guys do when they see a pretty chick. Lots of compliments, little jokes here and there, buddying up to her.

She comes into the thread and plays the innocent, giggly, sultry girl thing with lots of hugs for everyone. She obviously is really enjoying all the attention.

Then, I read a thread about how OMGWTF calls her out to play some, then I read how some opinions about how she may not be all that innocent and nice after all.

This is where it gets even funnier. SUDDENLY, everybody does a 180 turn and starts backtracking and now everyone is bashing her. That was some funny stuff. Lemmings came to mind.

I saw 2 distinct phenomenons happening here.....

The "guys falling all over a pretty girl"

and the

"180 degree Bandwagon Reversal in a Internet Forum"

Forums, pretty girls, guys and pool...what a complex mix:grin:

Who is Mary Avina? - All of these threads may have only led to more questions then answers. The mystery deepens, the plot thickens.

I still have a hard time believing all this hoopla about me I'm just one girl that play's pool with one tiny insignificant website set up to sell art. I did not mean to offend people if I did I'm sorry I'm dumb and human like anyone else. I do regret upsetting the girls I get so nervous about playing girls since I don't do it often. Maybe that made me do and say the wrong thing I did however did not consider it would reach such a magnitude. I drove 2 hours just to play there in Santa Monica. I was just so happy to find girls that were into pool I met so few usually. I feel lonely in that sense. I admit I'm bad and awkward in social situations don't know how to express myself correctly maybe I got too exited about talking about pool like I do here.

Kilmer almost stole the show as much as I like Russell. He played a great Doc. It wasn't until I saw an old movie that I realized he had done his homework and mostly copied an earlier portrayal of Doc, Jason Robard's if I remember the name correctly.

I've followed this whole saga from the beginning and this is pretty much how I've sized it up too. It's quite amazing actually.

Dabarbr has got a solid reputation around here. I'd like to hear what he knows about Mary.
