Perfect Aim Video and Lesson Phoenix

Spidey,

I honestly don't have a clue what you are trying to imply. I already know you hate me, but I hope you are not trying to imply that I hate Gene. How could anybody hate Gene? He's a sweet guy. He's also helped heighten the awareness of the importance of sighting in pool. This is a great thing.

Regards,
Dave

PS: If you are really "just joking" please let me know what the joke is. I don't get it.

I was honestly just ribbing ya. I was joking about how you linked to your site with the sighting posts when you questioned Gene's stuff for being new.

There's almost nothing in pool that hasn't been discussed already over the last few centuries. It's not the info, sometimes it's the delivery.

I don't hate ya-- I just like to rib ya occasionally the way you and your boys rib me. If I met ya, I'm sure I'd give you a Ph.D. in getting loaded.

Your FRIEND,

Dave

P.s. C'mon... you didn't laugh at that haterade picture??? Sh1t was funny.

Nowhere did I claim or imply Gene's stuff isn't new. I was just pointing out to someone that this kind of stuff (how one should sight) has been discussed and illustrated quite a bit (mostly by Mike Page).

Agreed. It doesn't matter if Gene's "stuff" is "new" or not. People seem to relate to him and how he presents the stuff ... that's all that really matters.

I'm also sure we'll hit it off when we eventually meet, especially if some heavy drinking is involved. (Although, I'm not so sure about Cookie ... I can't imagine that guy ever getting along with me.)

BTW, I grew up and went to college in New Orleans, so I have a little experience in the inebriation arena. If you're not careful, I might give you a PhD (puked his drink).

Your FRIEND,

Dave
Ditto!

I did think it was cute. I just didn't know what you were trying to imply with it.

Catch you later,
Dave

Hi there guys,

Well lets see here. We have a scientist and we have Spidey the pool warrior that lives pool with a passion.

What do you get when you cross a scientist with a passionate pool warrior that eats and sleeps pool like myself.?

Sometimes. Misunderstanding especially when it is just words on paper.

If all 3 of us lived in the same town I know we would be the best of friends or at least be alot of the same places together and know each other very well. .

Dr Dave being a scientist comes across a little rigid about some things. But he just tries to give the facts. Sometimes these facts that you give might look like insults or worse even though you mean nothing like that at all. If I lived in your town we would be in the basement all the time trying to figure out a million things with this game of pool.

On the other hand then there is Spidey. He loves the game of pool for what it is. One of the most fabulous games that has ever come about. When he learns something new he is estatic. With the excitement and enthusiasm of a youngster. Every night of pool is an adventure. He lives it and loves it.

I feel like I'm talking about myself.

If I didn't know you Dr Dave I would have felt insulted sometimes by things you posted but I know that is not the way you meant it to be. You are a scientist and you present the facts that you know and that make sense to you. Sometimes it may appear that you are stepping on someone elses toes to other people. I know that , that is not the case.

Spidey is the guy I want at every tournament. Loves the game and is just really into it. I know he lives the play by plays of pool matches in his mind just like I do. He's very much on the people side of pool. And from what I know is loved by all the players around him.

We need both of you on this sight because there are so many things that you both bring to the table.

Remember sticks and stones.............

We are all so different but at the same time we have this common bond as so many players across the country do. We all love pool. It doesn't matter who you are or what you are the pool world accepts us all.

And sometimes in this pool world especially among some of the elite players that seem a little harsh. When we peel off the ego , what's left is a pretty nice person.

Have a great day guy.. Your Friend Geno...............

Hey, Gene.... you should run for Mayor or something. You can probably talk a Latter Day Saint Republican into splitting his discretionary income between a prostitute and political donations to support a gov't run insurance plan that competes with his own policy! Your posts always find common ground :) You're the man!

I'm having a flashback of when I used to watch wrestling as a kid (way back in the day) when there was this manager called "Brother Love." He loved everybody! I could just picture Brother Love reading your last post out loud ;)

Dave,
You gave me a flashback to "Brother Love's Traveling Show", Neil Diamond's popular song about a preacher with his traveling Christian show and thought some of you might like to know where and how the song originated. Neil is Jewish so you should hear THE REST OF THE STORY.

The rest of the story is buried a couple of minutes into this old recording.
Even Johnny Cash was young back then. This was obviously not a studio recording but a live performance.

Neil's personal experience kind of reminds me of some of the experiences one might find right here amongst the AZ Billiards Family.

If I were you Spider, this one might worry me a little bit. Have you heard the story about the Cowboy that drank so much his a$$ hurt in the morning? :rotflmao1::rotflmao1::rotflmao1:

On a serious note, I had the pleasure of meeting Geno during the tournament in Indy. We were able to talk for a while, and I wish it could have been longer. If I had known far enough in advance I would have budgeted some money to take a lesson from him, but Ill have to settle for ordering his video in the future.

Gene is truly a guy that has a passion for the game, and enjoys spreading it to anyone that will listen.

I thought you already had the video?

Hi there Woody,

I'm glad you sent this message. I was trying to find one of your other messages to send you one but couldn't find it.

I lost my first match in Indy. Those tables up above played awful slow at least the one I played on. That Atkins from Ohio beat me. I need to figure out how to get things right in the morning. I talked to other diabetics and thay say they have trouble also. It seems to take about 3 to 4 hours to get the blood sugar stable.

But I did learn some valuable info. I played at 7:00 9:00 11:00 12:30. I was ahead 5-2 in my 12:30 match. All of a sudden I was like I was brain dead. Not only I couldn't shoot but I couldn't think. I did the same thing today. I'm gambling and got to that same point. Lost a set and then I ate something even thought my meter said my blood sugar was still ok. It took about 15 minutes to kick in but I felt like superman.

I won about $1000.

I'm experimenting to try and stay at the same level throughout the whole tournament. I did the same thing in my final match at the US open. It seems like the excercise you get from playing really lowers the blood sugar. I'll bet this info would even help players that are not diabetic. I'm going to keep at it until I get it figured out.

If anyone that reads this is diabetic and knows how to get your blood sugar level real quickly in the morning please help me figure this out.

It was too bad you got stuck on those crappy tables upstairs. Did yours play slow also?

Anyway, if I knew you didn't have a video I would have showed you some of Perfect Aim. Just so you could see how great it works .Sorry about that. Next time.

It was real nice meeting you in person. I was looking for you and realised you were gone. It is always a treat to meet players from the internet.

I'm going up to the ACS tournament this weekend in Crestwood,Il. It looks like fun. I will set up alot of lessons when I'm there. I guess as long as I won the ACS 8 ball in Vegas I'm the National Champion. Sure, I'll go there and get knocked out in 2 matches.

Anyway have a great Weekend Geno......................

I thought about asking you about perfect aim, to compare with some of the info that I have heard, but didnt want you to think I was just talking to you to try and get a feebie LOL.

I will talk to my wife, she is a nurse in the ER of a hospital in Indy and while she is not diabetic she does experience times when her sugar gets low and must eat or she gets sick. Im sure you have talked to several doctors on the subject, but Ill see if she has any other suggestions that may work. Its usually the nurses that really know whats going on anyway :D

Let me know if your ever close to Indiana again, if close enough we will have to get together for some dinner and pool!

Hi there derek,

I shot well and got knocked out of one this weekend. I was hill hill and could have run out but the first shot was kind of tough but makeable. He only had one ball left. He made a rediculous kick and got shape on the 8 straight in.

The good thing is you'll feel better tomorrow and be ready to go again.

Giver hell and try again next week.

Have a great week Geno.........................

Disco wanted you to give him the secret. Well, not exactly. He wanted you to give him some pain. So tell him how much easier it would be for him to aim with PERFECT AIM.:grin:
