Picture of person of interest re Mike Surber's death

Count me in

Please take this picture to your bar or pool room and ask
people if they have ever seen him. Someone will know him.

Thank you

I sent the link with the picture to America's Most Wanted along with a message. Maybe if they get enough of them, they will at least put his picture out in the public ye.

America's Most Wanted

Please e-mail America's Most Wanted. If everybody who contributed to this thread takes a few seconds to e-mail this TV show, we may get this story covered, which will get the message out to more public.

Here is the main Contact link: http://www.amw.com/contact/

If you feel compelled to write a brief description of this murder, along with your e-mail, phone number, then please take the time to send a PDF form that you can download to this AMW link: http://www.amw.com/mystory/

If the collective body of the pool community bands together, we just might be able to seek justice for Mike Surber.

Stop talking and start chalking -- I mean writing.

Thanks for the link

I sent my comments and also mentioned that this is a big deal to hundreds of people across the country.
Non-Az members were even talking about it at Table Steaks in Denver last night and people that knew him or knew of him are very upset.

Someone said the video showed him getting out of Mike's car when it was returned to the pool hall. If that is accurate, he is convicted in my mind. Either he did it or was part of it-either way a murderer.
remind me never to be convicted with you on the jury

Here's the postal address of America's Most Wanted:

Somebody out there knows who that is in the video-captured picture of Jericho Cooper. With the help of America's Most Wanted, we can get this guy, at least in for questioning. As we all know, he's only a "party of interest" at this stage.

I'm not going to sit back and let Biloxi Mike's murder get ignored, and I hope you don't either.

Please take the time to contact America's Most Wanted.

My next step will be to contact Senators Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker and the appropriate Member of Congress for this district of Ocean Springs. When the media gets involved, you can be sure that the Senators and Members of Congress will not only take notice, but they will get involved.

I want justice, don't you? Please take the time to e-mail and/or write a letter. It will only be one minute of your life in the memory of one of our own, Biloxi Mike!

Jericho Cooper has been named a person of interest by the cops. Does that mean there also is a warrant out for his arrest?

That wouldn't make sense to me. If there was a warrant out for his arrest they would say so.

He is only a person of interst in this case. The person of interest may be able to shed some light on Mike's last days OR NOT.

I am beginning to get the impression that the Ocean Springs Police Department, like so many other government entities in these difficult economic times, may not have the funds needed to pursue this "person of interest" correctly.

Wouldn't it be great if, say, Governor Haley Barbour of Mississippi came to the rescue with funds and some inquiries of his own as to why this case seems to have one tire stuck in the stand?

For anyone who can take a few seconds out of your day, please contact Governor Barbour and let him know how concerned you are about the status of this murder investigation:

1-877-405-0733 or 601-359-3150

P.O. Box 139, Jackson, Mississippi 39205.

Let's see if we as a community can make a difference and get justice for one of our own!

This may indeed be the case. A quick phone call to the Governor's office to make a complaint may get the needed resources. Heck, you've even provided a national toll-free number. You are THE BEST.

Jennie thank you for all you have done this weekend.

After losing my brother so suddenly, then Mike being murdered then the frickin cat dying in our arms, I was done.

I just had nothing else to give so I slept for about 19 hours.

I need to get back in the game and will be doing that later today.

BUT thank you for everything you have done, the stuff that
was done on 2plus2 is great.

I think I am going to steal it and go register for a bunch of other boards
today.

Thank you to everyone that has bumped this thread, posted a picture at their pool room or bar, put in on their twitter or my space or face book,
or other forums or their live video stream, thank you for helping.

lots of hugs

Jen, I and all of Mike's friends here in Mississippi are very grateful that you're taking these steps to aid the investigation and apprehension of Mike's murderer. You're going way beyond the call of duty, and I really appreciate it.

The local police department in Ocean Springs is being assisted by the Gulfport PD, the Miss. B.I., and the FBI. There's another Federal agency involved as well, but I can't think of which one.

Here are the addresses of our local U.S. Rep. Gene Taylor, and also our two senators:

Rep. Gene Taylor
2269 Rayburn HOB
Washington, D.C. 20515
Phone: 202.225.5772
Fax: 202.225.7074

Sen. Roger Wicker
555 Dirksen Senate Office Building
Washington , DC 20510
Main: 202-224-6253
Fax: 202-228-0378

Sen. Thad Cochran
United States Senate
113 Dirksen Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510-2402
202-224-5054

I'll get on the stick later today and get the names and contact info for our State reps and senators. I'm guessing that a phone call from any one of these politicians might free up some resources for use in this investigation.

In addition, at your excellent suggestion, I wrote a letter to "America's Most Wanted" at the updated Bethesda address you posted. Maybe some other folks will too. I'm hoping the show will take an interest.

You guys have done a great job of getting this story out there and the perp's photo in front of a lot of the right eyes. Someone either knows him or will see him! But after that they must have a good contact number to get him arrested. We need the contact numbers for the Gulfport PD, The MBI and the FBI local office. I think the AZ crowd is doing a great job but surely the police do not expect us to apprehend this guy ourselves.

That being said, if I should see him in California, I am going to my car and retrieving my gun from the trunk. I will detain him until the police arrive, one way or the other. I owe you that much Mike.

Thanks Jam for being me on twoplustwo. You went above and beyond there!
