a question for Freddy the Beard

you are willfully blind

(snipped all of pj's ridiculous or insulting comments, there wasn't much left!)

pj,

You could understand these things but you are the most willfully blind person I have ever met. You also have been a great smelly jackass in every thread when we have posted back and forth on technical matters. After enough times I don't waste time with you. I explain things so anyone with a lick of common sense can understand them and I treat you the way you always get around to treating others that don't agree with you. That saves me time and aggravation. Of course you would remember these things about my posts to you if you weren't so willfully obtuse. I have told you this over and over. Some people are born dense, you have made being dense a lifelong effort.

I really don't think it takes much effort, Hu, he's a natural.

Ha Ha. Nope. Try a little less angle with the third ball and move the cue ball down a bit too. You're getting close though. You just don't know it yet. Play around a little with the point of impact on the object ball. All of a sudden you'll make it. It will go! Without help.

I like to shoot it from the other side because I'm a righty. Might be easier for you too.

Wait I thought Jay was talking about making the first ball using massive draw to transfer follow. Now I'm really curious.

That's a different shot but also a good one. If you hit it just right, you can make BOTH balls in your pocket that way.

Thanks I will work on it.
The shot I taped was a new one on me, and until I decided to tape it was going clean!

You have the right shot there. Just takes a little getting used to. I can make that shot about one out of three times. Third ball back in the corner.

Outstanding!

No, but I'll be glad to Wei-Wei on your leg.

...and this little piggy went WEI-WEI-WEI, all the way home.

As an aside, The AZ Filter Boy stopped Mr 3Cush, (Billy Smith) cold in his tracks on 1pkt.org when Billy started to open up on some of the secrets he learned from Ernie Presto, the man who spent thousands taking lessons from the masters, Willie Hoppe, Jake Schaefer Jr, Johnny Layton, and Welker Cochran. Mr 3cush make the unforgiveable mistake of mentioning using a "short" stroke on a certain hit.

Which ball should reverse? 1,3 or 5 ball.
Thanks

Which ball should reverse?

The first ball, the one you hit with the cue ball. It will come back to the corner pocket! In fact it started too on your third try. When you figure it out, you'll love it. You haven't quite found the right hit yet.

Sorry gang, these shots aren't hangers. They do take a little practice to perfect them. So does the other shot, making the second ball directly in the corner pocket. I've got a few more like it in my bag of tricks.

SCIENCE BE DAMNED! I know I'm getting a little crazy in my old age. Somehow Lou brings out the best in me.

This thread started off crummy and is turning good. Jay, I want to know that spot shot!!! That would be very useful. Then you said you could make them both in your pocket?!?!

Not even if I had just been stung by jelly fish :-)

and then

By the way, to those who have already alluded to it: I don't usually post this much. I'm just stuck at home the last couple of days getting ready for family and in-between shampooing carpets and getting out the extra bed and cleaning bathrooms and stuff like there, the computer offers a nice break and mental amuse bouche.Lou Figueroa

Wow. 2 Friends references in back to back posts. And here I thought Lou wasn't adding much to AZ. :)

I'm not telling all my secrets here either. I'd just get knocked for it anyway. When you see me somewhere, just ask and I will show you both shots.

Jay: For the two balls on the spot, I'm assuming you have BIH and can't move the front ball, correct??? If so, on my bar box with nap cloth, and 4 1/8" pockets, I can throw the second ball in. Don't know if it can throw that much on Simonis though.

Neil, I know you play good, but I will bet you that on your table (or any table) I can make that shot twice as many times as you. We each take ten tries and you go first. Now if I show you how to make it all bets are off. Once you see it the first time, it won't be hard for you to learn how to do it just as good as me.

Hu:

You could understand these things but ...
[snip yet more of the usual insults from Hu, but (surprise!) no answers to any of the questions about his claims]

I could understand these things but you never explain them. Every time we get to the explaining part your Tourette's acts up and the insults begin. I'm sure it's just coincidence.

Jump over the edge of the first ball.
