I know that Chris probably posted it to knock instructors. But, if he did, the knock is on him. A good instructor CAN help him. A good instructor is not going to go changing his stroke. Why would they? It obviously works quite well for him.
At that level, there are still things he needs to do to get to the next level. A good instructor could help him identify those things that need work. And, in case you hadn't noticed, Tiger Woods has a coach and trainer too. He's smart enough to know that he can't see every little mistake he is making, so he hires someone to help him be the best he can be. And, you are very wrong that no one on here has the ability to help him. There are people on here that can. And, I'm not saying that I am one of them either.
You are making the mistake that just because someone can't play at that level, that they don't know how to pick apart someones game and show them where they are messing up. Don't confuse what instuctors teach most of their students , which the bread and butter are beginners to intermediate players, with what they teach much, much, better players. Very few really good players in this country will bother with an instructor/coach to help them for several reasons. One, they can't afford to (and I'm not talking about just spending a day or two with him and he's got everything he needs, I'm talking about having a coach to actually spend some time with him.) , two- their egos are too big. Look at the other countries that are surpassing us, a lot of them have coaches and actual schools. Why don't we??
