This is a NEW Professional Cue Repair Lathe. It is not designed nor is it intended to be a cue building lathe. It has been assembled checked and tested for all operations. It will do tips, ferrules, tenons and tenon replacement, joint collars, joint pins, ring work, butt caps, rewraps, and just about any other type of cue repair including house cues. It has a 48” Bed, and full usable 42” carriage travel. The headstock has a 3 jaw self centering chuck. The setup includes a stronger continuous duty ½ hp reversible rotation motor with full variable speed control, removable plug-in foot control for doing rewraps, a Quickset Bearing Steadyrest, an Adjustable Steadyrest with 3 or 4 jaw self centering chuck. I am changing over to the 4 jaw chuck but I may still have a few 3 jaw chucks available. The lathe also includes a drilling tailstock with 1/2 inch commercial drill chuck. and it comes with a concave live center and 3 delrin collets for butt and joint work and nylon collets for shafts tip end and for shaft joint end… etc. It comes mounted, complete and ready to go. What's not to love.

Please remind me - 'cause I might have asked this before, what
is the capacity of the chuck in the bearing?

Also, pics look like the crossfeed, tailstock and bearing chuck just slide
on and off the end of the bed - it that right?

The thru spindle bore on the steadyrest chuck is 1.3875

Everything comes off the end of the bed. But the tailstock & the both steadyrests can also be loosened and lifted directly off the bed and or remounted where you want them with out having to move anything else out of the way.

Nice looking machine.. All you need to do now is get the bigger headstock and DC motor set up from lee and buy the taper attachment from Chris and you can sell your own Deluxe Cuesmith. Your getting close.

hi does anyone know where i can just buy the chuck for a cue lathe i am making self centering and not to heavy to use on cues ok thanks troy
 
hi i like the lathe how ever i am building my own do to cost ok where do you buy the chuck at i have everthing else i just cant seem to find a good cue chuck ok thanks troy nice machine too
