Mike Sigel Custom Cue

OK, I'm back. The way I see it, that cue is made of wood. God made that wood & now you're hocking it for $1900? Shame on you! Tell you what, if you send me that cue, I promise I will saw the joint off & sharpen it & will only use it to kill vampires, deal?
I have owned several of Mike's custom cues...not the production import models which I used to sell in the pro-shop, but the true customs.
While I did not hit with all of them, a couple of them were very sporty players, one purpleheart into ebony with ivory diamonds, in particular.

Although many of these posts are somewhat humorous at first, they are still hurtful and I know we are all above this.... or at least some of us are. Most of you guys operate in the pool room with a live and let live attitude, so why not here? Everyone has known someone in their life that has had some sort of "religious awakening" or "divine intervention" that feels the need to spread their gospel enlightenment to everyone they come across whether we ask for it or not. Here you aren't cornered, you can click the back button. He joined AZBilliards, he may choose to stick around or not. Ridicule is fruitless unless your goal is to run him off the board and he leaves. How about we just live and let live?

With all due respect, my take on the subject is as follows:
1.) It's an intrusion, plain and simple... Kind of like the guy wearing nothing but a trench coat, walking around, flashing unsuspecting people.
2.) Some may be offended by the fact that this individual is demonizing pool while attempting to exploit a website devoted to pool in order to pedal his wares.
3.) I can't speak for everyone, but I'm a free-thinking adult, capable of making my own choices, and I will not be condescended upon by a person claiming to know what is "infinitely" better for me and everyone else.
That being said, I agree that employing a little empathy wouldn't be such a bad thing in cases like this.

I'm not demonizing the activity of pool, though it may very well be a vain self-ambition.
Also price cut to $1400.
The reason I'm giving it up is this:
"The Kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Maybe I'm in the minority here but I'm not troubled by MikeSigelCue's posts. He's not proselytizing. He's just telling us why he's selling his cues in favor of a different direction in life. Others leave pool for different hobbies or whatever. He's leaving to spend time on religion. More power to him.
A bunch of other posters have religious references in their usernames or profiles. It's not what I'm into but it doesn't bother me. I don't see why MikeSigelCue deserves to get berated for this.

I sincerely hope you find whatever it is you're looking for. As for me, I'm going to cut myself some slack and live my life.
Good luck with your sale. Of all the cues that I've had, the Sigel is the one I've kept the longest.

Bump for price adjustment. This cue honestly plays great, will not be disappointed.
I have 2 Sigel cues and I have been praying that I could sell them for close to what I bought them for.
