A thread re-circulated these past several days that was contentious, highly argumentative, and in my opinion not in the best interest of AZBilliards, or it's membership. It violated many of the tenants regarding respect and civility, as set forth by the administrators, and served no other purpose than to stir the passions of the participating members (myself included) in a negative way.
Because of this, and other situations like it, I feel that if reputation points (greenies) are awarded to a poster of a thread by members who feel that said post is positive, then by the same token points should be allowed to be given to posters who have presented threads that are deemed negative by the members. If negative reps were displayed along with positive reps it could, in some cases, cause a person to reconsider a poorly thought out thread before it is submitted.
