Ariel Carmeli makes a beautiful TAD tribute cue, Bird's eye forearm and butt with TAD style rings. Great Cue.

well there are quite a few but I recommend Mike Bender for his detail to all facets of a cue...the hit, no weight screw, points and design and the joint makes it feel like a 1 peice cue. Oh if thats not enough he was a Paul D.Kirshenbock student at one time. Pricey, but you'll be happy for life.... Jmo

Find someone close to you so you can talk to them, watch the progress etc.

insert everyone's favorite cuemaker here...

I suggest you spend some time in the for sale section and gallery section looking at what all cues are out there to get a feel for what styles you like and which cuemakers you find appealing.

Pick up the phone and call them once you find a few you like. After a few phone calls I imagine you'll find the cuemaker you're looking for.

Consider Lambros.

Cues are like putters and everyone thinks their putter has a better feel than the next guy's.

For me, I'll never switch putters. I've found a cue that is everything I want in a "hit."

Dave Ward at B&D Cues. Beautiful work at reasonable prices and will deliver as promised. PM me for a phone number.

I'd recommend Tim Scruggs. Seriously, instead of banking on another person's notion of Scruggs-like, you might order a plain jane from Tim or post for a Scruggs SP in the sale forum. Also, you might have read that Bob Frey's name is often mentioned in conjunction with Tim's.

It sounds like you found a cuemaker you like already. Contact Mr Scruggs and see what he can do or find what is for sale on the second hand market you dont have any crazy specs you are looking for so im sure there are few out there for sale.
Good luck

yea if he wants a scruggs sneaky pete....then either buy a used one or contact Bob Frey for one....bob basically was the one that made most of the sneakies anyways from my understanding. You could spend about 5-700 on a scruggs sneakey and get a new Frey for well under $500 last i checked
