ideas for trick shot video

Pretty cool. Trickshot videos are always fun to watch. Maybe you could incorporate the equipment more (chalk, rack, bridge) somehow. Instead of just using the balls? Just a suggestion, make it a little more interesting:thumbup:

If you haven't seen the video from Kimura, watch it. I'm sure you will get some ideas from it.

Good luck.

Thats impressive. If I played you I would need weight against you playin one handed LOL

one handed masse

I've been practicing one handed masse's. It's gonna take a few days to get proficient at, talk about a hard challenge lol

I played a rich guy several years back, one pocket, me playing one handed, him two, he never won a game but said it was the most fun he's ever had playing pool. Just remember, winning isn't everything, and if we were gambling I would constantly remind you of that! lol All joking aside, thank you for the comment.

Jesse...Very nice job on your videos! Love the tunes! FTR, how many tries did the shot in the first video where you cut in the OB frozen in the middle of the short rail, with the CB at the other end in the middle? I've made it in one try, two handed...but one-handed?...that's pretty sporty!

Thanks Scott, you have a great website there, I like it. I made that shot in about 20 tries.

I just made my first trick shot video. It was a learning experience. I am shooting everything one handed and would like some ideas of what would be cool to see on the next one, and comments on anything you didn't like and what I can improve. Thank You. Here's my first trick shot video,

I was playing a straight pool match about 3 years ago on a 9 foot table with shimmed pockets, and a situation came up whereas I needed to shoot a masse shot, but getting positioned for the shot was difficult. So, I somehow got the cue behind my back. The butt/grip hand was near my neck/shoulder, but behind my back. I actually made the shot. My opponent thought it was pretty crazy, and if I tried it today, I'd probably pull a muscle and cry like a baby :)

I can't remember the details of why I needed to shoot it that way. I think the cue ball was near the center of the table, and that made it hard to get positioned for the shot. I used both hands, but it was an air bridge because there were balls around the CB. That's probably why I didn't just shoot it left handed. I remember trying to get positioned right handed and left handed, and it just wasn't working out. I also remember trying to use a european masse grip, and my arm got locked up and it felt really awkward. So, I used my normal american masse grip.

Anyways, maybe a behind the back masse shot might be worthy of trick shot status.

I think the coolest trick shot I've seen was by Yoshikazu Kimura when he shot a jump shot and the cue ball curved in the air.

Near your shoulder, behind your back? Wow! I bet your opponent realized you would do anything to win after that shot, lol. I'll start working on behind the back masse's. That sounds cool. Thanks.

Keep them coming, I love to watch these videos, is the table a 4.5x9, just wondering. We have a older guy Jersey Joe, who plays one handed a lot, but nothing like you. He will put a ball in the middle of the short rail and put the cue ball at the other end of the table in the middle, but sits the cueball ON TOP OF THE RAIL where the felt meets the wood and will bet he can cut it in in 15 tries, I have seen him do it in 5. Thanks for all the entertainment. Tom

Maybe video quality, You are awesome my friend! I have shared your video with my fb friends. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up!

Jessie, you would reach immortality status if you could set up Efren's "Shot Heard Around the World" but shoot it one-handed and behind the back.

Do it dude!
