A couple things Im curious of after reading this WHOLE thread.
1) Does anyone believe Scott Frost would have $10,000 CASH to buy a truck BEFORE he played viffer?
2) Why are so many people who are not involved asking questions (and expecting answers)? IE Kickin Chicken.
3) Is it at all possible that Scott Frost could have been paid the $50,000 and just didnt tell anyone else? I read on a poker website that Scott was playing poker at Aria one day and lost a very large chunk of cash while completely intoxicated. (can be found on the 2+2 forums, dont have a link right now, it was last week or the week before when I read it)
4) If Scott WAS NOT stiffed, why would he look for viffer and rough him up? (only other reason is actually to try and rob the guy)
5) What does everyone think is MORE likely to have happened:
A) viffer stiffed everyone
B) Scott took $50,000 and didnt tell anyone about it and that money is now gone
Its already clear who the majority of people are leaning towards.
Billy I: Do you think there is any chance Scott would have stiffed you if he had $50,000 in his hands?
Id like to point out these are just things that came to mind, I know neither party. Reading above may seem to lean one way rather than the other but in all honesty, thats what came to my head reading all of the posts. I would say it is more likely that Scott was paid than viffer stiffed everyone.
Dude, the last post in the thread was on 6/15.Are you going to supply a link or are you going to stiff us?

OR:
Are you saying for whatever reasons (Scott spitting, stomping, ball wetting, door opening, general dislike of Scott) that you do not wish to pay up for this debt?
And the final question:
Did you receive $10k from Bartram on behalf of Scott for the SUV purchase? Yes or No?
i have never claimed that i did not wish to pay my depts, dippy pays, find anyone besides scott frost that says i dont.
scott was payed, if he is moving on billy lenny and others thats between them,
i have nothing to hide,
as for the truck, lets just say i know someone that will be happy to donate a nice truck to a tourny some time in the future.
As for lenny, i will say this once again i have never made a bet with you, i have never done any thing bad to you, you are blindly listening to a scum bag.
im not hiding, i have nothing to hide, this will not affect my life at all.. it will afect all of yours and pool alot more,
good luck everyone,
WTF??? you asking questions to the people involved AFTER asking the people who weren't involved why they were asking questions since they were not involved in anyway............this thread is EPIC!!!!!!!
It's got nearly everyone talking in circles!!!!!!!!! :grin-square:
Where I disagree with you is that Scott did his job in all the crucial areas. He was able to get Dippy down and beat him for the max. and it wasn't because the way Scott handled himself that made Dippy quit, but it was the beating that Scott gave to him that not only took his cash but his heart as well. At the end of the session Dippy had realized that he gave Scott his best shot and Scott still was standing tall. Scott endured everything that Dippy put on him, including the bad hit claim, and still couldn't win. Dippy then probably said f--k it i'm done with this guy and did what he felt was best for Dippy. One thing is for sure, Scott didn't lose anything for playing as well and hard as he did, and Dippy didn't win anything for stiffing everyone. And when it is all over and done, that's when everyone will realze that the only winner here is Scott.

Somebody please throw a beer can at the coop if there are any dramatic overnight developments like a sworn Dippy confession or a Samoan steel cage death match or Jay Helfert dressed up ninja-style in all black including his toupee in Vegas to boost the disputed SUV to sell for parts on eBay or if it turns out Bishop & Gingerbread man are actually IRS agents or....
Anything less monumental please dispose of your beer cans properly; I will catch up in the morning.
Good night.
Best,
Brian kc
...BTW, I have been wanting to ask this question but forgot to ask it, in all the hoopla. What kind of cue stick does Dippy shoot with? Just curious!![]()
Some information that was shared with me years ago by a friend who's family business was lending money to people who the banks wouldn't touch and as a broker for sports betting.
A good customer is an extremely valuable asset, do your very best not to lose them.
If a good customer loses substantial money and then can't pay the last bill, give them time, or arrange payments...but don't lose a good customer being a asshole, a tough guy, and certainly not by posting the situation on the internet. It was said much earlier, it's bush league and has not only cost you all a really good customer, but has documented the entire incident for all to see.
In spite of all the glowing character testimonials, none of which is relevant to this particuliar incident, no one really knows everything that actually happened here except DD, because he is the only person that experienced everything that transpired with respect to his half of this dispute. The other side involves three parties, so no one party can be totally sure of what happened with the other two. All the other input in this thread, while mostly well meaning, is either partial, second hand, biased, speculation, or opinion.....surely nothing to base any final conclusion on.
Hope that this gets resolved in a manner where each party gets exactly what he is entitled to.

I disagree with you here. How did Scott beat him for the Max? By acting like an idiot and making moves only cost him many future games with Dippy. He probably cost you future games and potential LARGE winnings as well. It sounds like Dippy enjoys playing pool against these champions for BIG money for enjoyment. Now if you turn his enjoyment into misery it can cost you 50k worth of winnings![]()
Jeeze what kind of nit teases us with the poker forum reference? Spit it out man - this is our weekend entertainment!!!
