I could be mistaken, but didn't Dippy say he went to the bank and withdrew the money that he owed?
If that's the case, Dippy why don't you just show proof that you withdrew the money around the time you claimed you paid Frost?
It's not proof that you PAID, but it would help your side of the story. Just block out your bank account number, and show the date, time, and the amount of money you withdrew from the bank.

There was no robbery and Dippy didnt have a mark on him (I saw him immediately after the "assault") . According to four people I talked to who saw it all no punches were thrown. The whole thing was supposedly on the Cue Club's security video. After an hour of talking with the cops Scott and the other dude walked out. If Dippy was truly robbed and beat up do you think that would of happened?
There was and is a lot going on with this deal. Normally I wouldn't say anything about something like this in public but since both sides have put it out there I have.
Dippy straight air barreled Billy and Scott. That is the bottom line. If he wants to justify it to himself thats on him. Doesn't change the fact he fired the largest air rocket in recent times in the pool world.
Looks to me like Dippy is fine with things as they stand. If I was Billy or Scott I would take the posts he has made here the same way as if he looked me in the eye and said "Fvck you. I am not paying."
Dippy has been playing mind games with Scott leading him on like he was going to pay him only to laugh at him and tell him to get screwed. IMO Scott has shown tremendous restraint.
Dippy knows the truth and so do the people who know what's going on. I hope Scott just walks away and goes about his business. If he stays in Vegas and stews on this situation it probably will not be good for anyone. Sometimes you just take your lumps. But then $60K (Based on Dippy saying he took the truck back which Scott paid $10K for) is one giant ass lump to fade.
I would say dipp and scott should take it to the cage mma style, but after a few ladies have said scott has hands like the early 90s tyson, I think dipp better stay away.
I think that the next TAR shirt should be "money on the light makes it right" or "in God we trust, all others must post"
The real lesson here is that playing on a promise to pay can end up in broken promises.

I wonder if it's not possible for Scott to file suit against Dave for the payment of the debt? Being as how a contest of skill with a prize is not considered gambling?
Especially in Vegas where wagering on contests of skill are legal. How about this angle?

You posted this in jest I believe, but it may not be as far fetched as it may seem. It could be a way that both sides could save face.
This isn't real billiards until somebody gets a thumb broken off. I don't consider this a full win until somebody shoots somebody. But hey its all legal as long is you pull the trigger in Vegas and its Samoan who handles the heat.

Well you have to knock at least one of them off. You know to send a message the this is the real world of billiards and you don't mess around. At least that's how I explained it to my kids when I sat them down to show them how daddy fell in love with this game and why. I'd also invest in a truck somewhere in the 10k range just to show you got a sense of humor about the whole thing.
