gotta agree
I've been keeping up with the entertainment until it has went away but from where I am sitting only Dave lost anything. Others didn't get as much as they had hoped but that's pretty typical gambling. First you have to win then if the stakes aren't on the spot you have to collect. I "lost" $80,000 it took me about thirty minutes to win back in the eighties. I was playing on a signed sales agreement for a piece of commercial property I owned and the other player was admittedly on air too but regularly did a large deal every six months. I had seen his kitchen table under the biggest pile of money I have ever seen in my life four months before, only maybe excepting the million I saw in a casino under glass, so I figured if I happened around his place at the right time I would collect if I won. Someone I knew lived a few doors down and I stayed there pretty often myself so I had a string on him. Unfortunately the Fed's seemed to have a string on him too and they pulled theirs first!
I could have went on tilt about the $80K I lost but in truth I didn't lose a thing. I didn't gain anything either but no big deal. A SOB managed to air barrel me for $15,000 on the sale of another piece of commercial property and that was money out of my pocket so I was an unhappy camper. I wanted the money to put with other money I had to reinvest but it took six months of collecting a nickel and dime at a time to get it and the $15,000 was spent as I got it just to live. Eventually I had to say the guy pulled a move and I got an education. Life goes on.

I think things are right about even now. Scott walked away with more than $30K even after the "repo" of the Tahoe. Not a bad score at the end of the day.
