I heard a roomer that mika immonen and shane van boening were going to go to battle in an action challenge. does anyone know if this is true or not? if so where and when will this occur? and last question, who do you think will come out on top?

How am I supose to know that I'm a very poor player? Probably would need the break and the 7&8 on a BB from you. Johnnyt

U would need alot more than that from Chris Bartrum, little fella :o:eek::sorry:

well, i disagree with you on the subject of good players dont play 9 ball. 9 ball is the fastest game to make to some quick cash. 10 ball is pretty much the same game, but that extra ball adds alot of difficulties. IMPO id like to see them go head to head in some one pocket, but that would make for an extremely long game. At the current level of the 2 pros, id say its anybodies game really.

fair enough you disagree on good players dont play 9 ball.

which 2 good players have you seen or heard of playing 9 ball for money?

ive seen it in the tournament room at q masters billiards. why do you say good players dont play 9 ball? They play it at the us open, dcc, and other major events. i know that tournaments arent back room stuff, but id like to hear your opinion on this subject.

9 ball racks are easier to navigate, therefore faster to play. This is why it's played at tournaments. If you are gambling and want to see who's best, 10 ball is far and above 9 ball. There hasn't been a five figure set with pros in 9 ball for at least 5 years.

Everyone who has some chops in this game play 10 ball when gambling. It takes into account kicking, position, speed control, and safety play to a much higher level than 9 ball. Watch some 10 ball and 9 ball; pay attention to the difference in ball positions after the break.

like i said they dont gamble at 9 ball.
some tourneys are 9 ball so they have to play it.

i said action they dont.
8 out of ten sets will be 10 ball over 9 ball.

No i was saying ive seen money play in the tournament room. but you never answered my question. Why dont they play 9 ball for money?

Both guys were in Indonesia and are now headed down to Louisiana. Shane is good with the dates we proposed just have to get with Mika and see what he says. When we get an exact date we can get a location. When we get a location we can get post money and when we get post money we got a match.

Probably 50/50 at this point if it actually happens.
