What should I do? I ordered a DVD on the 3rd of August and nothing. I have tried calling, emailing, pm'ing. No response??? Do these guys have all the money they need and don't want mine. I have ordered from them in the past and never had this trouble. I am going to contact paypal on tue. and place a dispute and get a refund, I really don't want to but that is no way to run a co. Any suggestions???????????????????

Any suggestions???????????????????

Yes, I do have a suggestion: settle down and be patient! :p

You said you ordered from them before without incident. If that's the case, then you should know that they will come through with their word.

Keep in mind that you're dealing with a very small part-time pool company who travels often, not to mention that the USPS is involved, which means anything short of incineration could have happened to your parcel (although that wouldn't surprise me either lol).

Justin is good shit. Late or not, he will deliver. Filing a dispute on Paypal will accomplish nothing, except maybe get yourself blacklisted from ever ordering TAR products again. :p

Agreed. Some people are out to take your money. TAR is not. Be patient with them. Justin works hard at keeping up with things. He's an honest man & he'll come through for you.

My guess is that they are out of town or busy. They don't have 50 elves working in a sweat shop getting items in the mail.

Please do a search, this has come up in the past and all issues have been resolved.

I have been reading more and more of these posts in recent times.

When the dog claw grinding machine came out on the TV infomercials, I was so excited to get one for my dog's long claws. The infomercial said that the dogs loved getting their nails done. I ordered it immediately.

I had to wait 6 long weeks before it arrived, and when it did, my dog hated it. Every time I pull it out, he runs and hides.

Somebody said there is a caveat on the TAR website that says to expect 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. HTH!

I am both a fan and a big supporter of TAR, but I think a month wait for some DVDs is excessive. I wish them nothing but the best, but if any business doesn't deliver to their customers in an acceptable time frame, then they won't last long. That's just how the market works. I certainly hope things improve because I want them to succeed.

Having said that though, if they now have a 4-6 week eta posted on their web site, then I guess you knew what to expect before you placed your order. This post would be appropriate after the 6 week mark, but not before. Like it or not, they did try to set the correct expectations.

BTW, I think there is a 30 day limit on revoking payment or filing a dispute with PayPal. If you ordered on Aug 3, then your 30 days may be up today. I have no doubt that your order will eventually be filled, but if you want a safety net, you might consider revoking your payment and re-ordering to start your 30 day count again. That's up to you.

Yup, dogs hate that thing!:D

To the OP:

Be patient man. I understand your frustration, but in the end, you will be a happy camper. I love the guys at TAR more than what is appropriate...

After reading a few post I checked the TAR website again and saw the 4-6 week delievery post. (never saw that before) They must be to busy to respond to my emails, and phone calls about the delay. I suppose after dealing with Pat Flemming for 15 yrs of monthly vidieos I am a little spoiled on service.

Talk about melodramatic.

Pat has been in operation for over 15 yrs and has had time to grow and perfect his business. TAR only has a couple of yrs under their belt and they're still growing and still a very small operation.

If you didn't see the disclaimer when you ordered, then that is your fault, not theirs. Your little dig at TAR does nothing but make you look petty and immature.

Hey, everybody can overlook things sometimes on websites. I've done that myself on occasion, missing a link to seek more information, as an example.

Most businesses have the motto that the customer is always right, so you will receive our product in due time. Hang in there, friend.

Justin has also said he realizes that the delays are not something he wants to have happening, that he is looking into farming out the whole store to another entity, so they can get merchandise out in a timely fashion.

It may be in your best interest to have a sizeable delay in your shipment, he's been known to throw extra product in the box to make up for the delay:grin:

a month and no product is not whining. it's a legitimate complaint. i've had this happen to me too.

OP!!!! just hit up Jcin and he'll point you in the direction of the guy that's in charge of shipping stuff out. they're good guys but they probably just forgot about your order. they'll make it right. they did for me anyway

There're a couple of shirts and dvd matches i've seen on their site that i wanted to buy but decided against it. mostly because i don't feel like waiting months to get what i pay for

It is hard for somefolk to understand that they have to wait a period of time before receiving product. Happy customers are repeat customers. :)

I love Monica Webb. She's one of the very first lady pros I really got to chat with on the rail. She was so nice to me. :)

A month is 4 weeks. The website says it can take 4 to 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, the complaint is legit.

JCIN is the guy that ships the stuff and the op already said they've attempted contact.

Don't mean to throw the thread, but am I the only one here that thinks Monica Webb is hot?
