???????????tar

Don't mean to throw the thread, but am I the only one here that thinks Monica Webb is hot?

Of course she is, and I don't know how old you are, but when you get up around 60, something truly amazing happens. You are going to see more beautiful women than you ever thought possible. You will be literally surrounded at all times.

To ease the pain ask JCIN for a free TAR patch. After you recieve said TAR patch, buy the cheapest hard 2X2 tube case you can find. Sew in said TAR patch on the case. Drive to somewhere they don't know you and ask everyone do they know a good APA team that needs a SL4. They will say no and ask you to play. Bet twice as much as the TAR merchandise cost plus pain and suffering and quit after winning the first set to further prove your league playerness. Go home with twice as much money as you spent with a smile and thank TAR later.

If that won't make you happy I understand your pain. He does have 6 weeks to get it to you by the shipping terms on the site. You could also probably drive to Vegas and pick the goods up yourself. You could also find his facebook page and scream at him in all CAPS like this "WHERE MY DVDS AT SON SON?" He will respond but please remember to use all CAPS all the internet tough guys are doing it.

Hey 3andstop I'm 66. Its like she reminds me of an old girl friend. Know what I mean? Something about her an I mean no disrespect. She is a lot younger than my daughter. I just think she is pretty. Boy I hope my wife doesn't see this.

A month is 4 weeks. The website says it can take 4 to 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, the complaint is legit.

JCIN is the guy that ships the stuff and the op already said they've attempted contact.

i not sure it had that posted on the site when this happened to me. you don't know the entire story so don't be too quick to judge me.

jcin is not the guy who handles the shipping. or at least he told me he wasn't in a pm the last time i talked to him.

4 weeks is a little long even if it says so on the site. i don't see it taking 4 weeks to ship anything out. even if they had to copy the match from scratch

I'm not going to get into an argument on a forum with whats an acceptable amount of time for a company to ship out a project, its really up to the consumer in the long run. Second I have ordered multiple (2) seperate times in the past with no delay. (That is why I did not see the 4-6 week deleivery time) if I had seen that I most likley would not have placed the order. Third I'm not on here to nit pick bash ect. TAR I think it is a great concept, alot of you on here act like your best friends with these guys (I can't get a hold of any of them) so maybe you can pass it along.

I've tried contacting the tar guys several times awhile back about a match they did (the gabe owen tony chohan one pocket match) just to ask when they thought it would come out, emailed once after no replies to see if they were going to release it at all, still no reply. if you can't take two seconds to send an email simply saying yes we're working on it or no we wont be releasing it you obviously don't need my business so I'll stick to accu stats.

I'll stick to accu stats.

So what exactly are you saying here? Were you going to ditch accu stats and never buy from them again if TAR had done right by you? LOL, these "I'll just stick to accu stats" comments are nothing but adding drama.

If accu stats was perfect right out of the gate, then good on them. Somehow I doubt they were perfect. They also didn't have to deal with the internet. They sold their stuff at tournaments. They could travel to events without having to deal with internet orders coming through while they were away covering an event. They also didn't have to fade the forums like these. Folks today have a crazy sense of entitlement and they expect things to happen in the blink of an eye.

By the time the internet rolled around, Pat had been in business about 15 yrs and had his sh*t together. Accu stats was able to grow with the net. TAR didn't stand a chance in hell of pleasing most people since we're well into the internet age and they're as small as they are.

People don't have the patience or self control to let a small co grow these days. People want matches but they complain when TAR is out streaming & recording matches instead of sitting at home mailing out patches & t-shirts.

There is PLENTY of room in the world for accu stats and TAR. Justin wasn't very old when Pat started accu stats. It sure would be nice if people quit comparing the two since one is a seasoned professional and the other is still in its infancy. Its apples and oranges.

Give TAR a chance. If the response time is 4 to 6 weeks it only makes sense to wait until then. We send out product on a regular/irregular basis. What I mean is some months, weeks, days are busier than others. Sometimes you start your day with all the intentions of getting certain projects accomplished but by the end of that day, or week or even the month you find yourself more behind than when you started. There are always other projects that jump up to distract you. Phone calls, friends, family and business acquaintances that always require your attention. This is not an excuse. It is just what happens in the business world seen through my eyes and what I have experienced. If after the 6 weeks are over then as with any business "give them hell" but until then it is a mute point IMHO.

No, accu stats is a great company but they can't have everything that you want which is where tar comes in they DID have what I wanted but made me feel like my business was uninportant so that just leaves 2 choices wait till tar is ready to deal with my questions and business or suck it up and do without their product, me I'll do the latter. More power to tar they put together some really great matches and I hope they do awesome business, they'll just have to do without mine, which wont bother them at all I'm sure

i'm not here to put down anyone or anything like that as i respect what TAR does and really appreciate it,but having said that the defense i've seen for them on here is a little out of line...when you pay for something then you expect to get what you paid for and if there is a problem then they should atleast tell you that...customer service can build companys or destroy them...when a business says we've been really busy sorry we didn't even make an attempt to reply to your emails it is saying hey man chill out we are to busy to deal with you the paying customer...customer service should be first priority...just my 2 cents

The TAR website specifically states:

"Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery."

So what exactly has the OP purchased that he is not getting? And why should they inform him that there is a problem when the OP's parcel is not due to arrive for another couple weeks?

Well Nathan the Canadian if you don't get the fact that the customer is the one with the money -(you want the customers money)- you should respond to corespondence with in an decent time frame. Then tell your fat super white Canadian friends to stop coming to our beaches on Vacation. Just kidding I have lots of Canadian friends their all ladys no men ever seem to leave Canada???????? EH

We probably all know that the "I think I'm getting screwed" feeling comes at the end of two weeks regardless of how long it says it will take to get there.....particularly for something like a DVD. I think this has more to do with no response than no arrival.

My advice to the TAR guys is for each of them to set aside at least one hour per day to respond to email through phone, or computer giving preference to placed order questions first. Of course I also don't know when the OP emailed and PM'd and so on so I could also be very wrong to even suggest this.

If selling DVDs is part of TAR's core business, then doing what customers want should be high priority. This does not mean doing everything customers wish, because that's impossible, but trying to ignore them won't work either. If someone is not satisfied, not getting feedback is going to make it even worse. Saying "they're good people" doesn't help at all if you don't feel like you're being served.

Putting a disclaimer that orders are going to take 4-6 weeks is good service in and of itself, but it doesn't mean that it's going to make it all up. Leaving the customer feeling ignored is just not acceptable. (That is, if you want them as your customer.)

Focus shouldn't be on who's right or who's wrong, but helping people build a sustainable and good business. If a customer is saying that he/she is frustrated, the right answer is not to make excuses even if the excuse is correct.

It probably should be evident by now that TAR can do no wrong in the eyes of some AzBilliards members. Loyalty is a good thing when it comes to being a business.

With that said, I would defend my other half to the ends of the earth, whether he was right or wrong. Believe me, he's been wrong a few times, but I will still stand by him and defend his actions, no matter. Why?

[singing] 'Cause after all, he's just a man. Stand by your man....

Sorry, Tammy, but I like this version better. :grin-square:

There're a couple of shirts and dvd matches i've seen on their site that i wanted to buy but decided against it. mostly because i don't feel like waiting months to get what i pay for

Actually you did make an order from us. You didnt like the wait so I refunded your money. You also received the merchandise and kept it. Please tell the whole story.

I sent you a PM here. I dont have any previous PM's from this account name. I have no way of knowing what you ordered or what if any email you sent based off of an AZ handle. Please respond to the PM here with your name, and invoice number and I can tell you what is going on.
