I would like to add that I cannot understand how the hell you posted a long, grammatically correct review of John Barton's case, and then you post something like this. Are you sure you work alone?
 
I collect cases and Sailor cues. Nobody with any sense collects Sailor cues because there is no market for them. But... I like'm so... whaddayagunnado?

I'm also a recreational player and a railbird and I like to do minor projects with leather.
 
I too collect cues and look and think about new equipment

for the game..also play in a few tournaments as well..will

bet on any pool game whether i am playing or on the rail..

and i have put alot of time into the history of the game and

its players over the last century..joy is what i am interested in..

Great thread, it will be a big one for sure.

Action is my first love-betting on myself. Rail bets are cool sometimes, putting a player in action, I dont like to lay a price in pool but I have a few times.

Playing for fun=$0.00 is almost impossible for me, unless its with a very good friend and not too often. I'm awalys proud to brag that Leeanne JA's Daughter is my God daughter-yet in all these years I have played JA only 2 times and not betting with him is a very smart idea. Its amazing when you play him just how weak I am after all these years, one time we played and he was playing fair and I wasnt playing good(I was sick), the second time he didnt miss a ball in a hour(It was impossible for anyone to beat him that day, he played perfect-litterly perfect. I won one game on his dry break 1-9 combo in an hours play score had to be 25 or more to 1.


Being a rail bird was more fun when I was younger-seems backwards???

Cue collecting has awalys been a back seat thing for me, pool is first. However I have awalys had a collection starting from 1 and growing it to 5or 6 for many years, only the past few years have I assembled a larger collection.


AZB and the social aspect of pool wasnt there for the first 20 years I played, now it is and I like it. I remember going to pooll tournments and recogizing faces but they weere nameless faces, now I seem to know everybody and going to tournments is like a reunion and I really like that. I like everyone in pool and do my best to be liked, just for the social aspect. I know more people in pool than anywhere, its fun to see some people once a year others often, and phone calls to some people. I call Billy Cardone every 3 months just to bug him:p;). The people that hate me I do my best to at least let them know me and hope they change their mind. I dont have a family so when someone hates me i'm very sensitive to that, now you know
 
man, lay-off cowboy, we all know what he intended to say, look at all the answeres to the poll. this isnt a english or spelling or grammer board, its about pool. he got close enough. Terry answered it with out a problem, as did I-before I read all the shit talk. Shit talk like this ruins boards I have seen it happen before on many boards that were stronger than this and the kids, ball busters etc messed it up-permantly. you guys are better than this, show cowboy some love he is old and perhaps was drinking or sleepy what ever the case give him a break.

everyone feels the need to pat themselves on the back because they spell check every post they type up.

this is a pool forum people. you want to do all that BS you ought to find yourself a forum full of english professors to kick it with. patting yourself on the back because you found a pool player that don't spell too good (spell good done wrong intentionally, every othermistake was just a mistake) really ain't nothing to brag about.

Plus there are a bunch of Keyboard Commando's who honestly would not walk up to you face to face, and say what they say from the safety of their keyboards. JMHO

It would seem to me that out of respect for the Board he would at least look at what he typed before submitting.

Especially because he remains tolerated, given his past.

I agree here....

Given the medium used is being read that is all we have.
Talking face to face is not the case here and if we can't understand wtf you write what good is it? It is common courtesy to check yourself before hitting the "enter Button". Just my .02
